Dietary changes that can help reduce weight

Am I only one trying to gain ? I can eat anything and still I am skinny af :/

LOL ! it's mostly water weight, huge weight loss is very common on first month on Keto.
That was a joke.

But to be honest, I tried it and the only thing I noticed was more fat on my plate. Weight was the same for 30 days. I ate the same number of calories as before. Magic didn't happen.

Look, i'm not a big fan of foods, i have a rule that peoples think is aggressive : "Empty stomach = Clear Mind" :D

Check this : https://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html
I usually go with the extreme WL intake and cut it by half, that's what you are allowed on your eating window while IF, and it should not exceed 25g net carbs, how's about that :D ??

Check this too btw : https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/not-losing-weight-on-keto

The thing is I didn't attempt to lose weight with it.

I tried it because people said I will feel superior on it. I didn't. I even felt worse due to abstaining from a wide group of foods.

So the benefits are just not the result of being on this diet. I think it's more about intermittent fasting than keto.

I didn't start doing IF till the second month because i was tired of planning for 3 meals / day, that's it, if you still eat a lot of calories, then the classic calories in calories out formula won't work for you, no matter what diet you are on, eat less and stop focusing on food that much.

Depends on what you want. Lose weight… vague. You Probably want to lose fat and not muscle. If you just want drop weight, then yea you can loose muscle + fat, that will be very fast, but you obv don’t want that

Lot of good answers here
There's no big secret to losing weight
+intermittent fast (16/8)
+one (big) meal per day
+multi day water fast if you are hardcore
+cut out sugar snacks / processed food / PUFA
+need to do some form of exercise whether it's cardio or weight lifting. Can be as simple as walking around your street for a half hour. Eventually your body will let you push it harder.

Track your calories, be in a calorie deficit (200 calories less), that's it

I would first look up anabolic diets if you have a bad eating habit if its hard for you to give up certain dishes. The internet/tiktok has a bunch of these.

Then if you have access to a treadmill, put it at the highest incline it can go and then put the speed at pace that is between walking and running and do that every day for 20 minutes. If not just walk up any hills in your area

Learn about glucose and insulin and how eating changes these in our bodies. Eat before 8 pm every night so your body will break it down by morning. Cut the snacks and soda out definitely.

Id also try and do this treadmill walk in the am on an empty stomach.

And track your calories!! its the only way you will hold yourself accountable to successfully do a calorie deficit.

I think you will be quite surprised in two months.

Dont get on the scale every day either, get on once a week and youll see more steady progress which will keep you going. I believe in you!!
