I have a mobile site m.domain.com that serves different content than the domain.com
Mobile users to the domain.com site are asked if they would like to continue to the m.domain.com site

My questions is would Google rankings be negatively affected because the mobile site is a separate distinct site?
Both sites are showing as optimized for mobile when checked using Googles tool.

Yoooooo

Google "Separate URLS - Developers Google Mobile Guidelines" and click the link. I can't post it cause I'm too new of a member lol :(

You need to tell Google you're serving a different site to mobile users. Let me know if you have questions on that.

Do you have another question about analytics? If you want to track in GA you need to add a separate property within your GA account, so that you have a new JS tracking ID and separate the traffic into properties.
