Demizeus claiming a refund for no reason

@demizeus bought a reddit account from me on 24th Feb. Here's the proof.





As my thread mentions, I usually deliver the account within 3 days of placing the order. I delivered him his account as usual, here's the proof:



I was nice to him and added 3.6K karma instead of 1000 that he bought. I usually do this for my first time buyers.

Since then, I haven't received any message from him. So naturally a seller would think that everything is fine the the delivered item. Also I made sure that everything was fine before delivering the account.
Yesterday I received a notification from paypal that the buyer is asking for a refund of $20. I mean, how could he do that. He never complained about anything (although I'm pretty sure that the account was working perfectly and there wasn't anything to complain about) .

I immediately went to that reddit's profile to see if he has made any activity to the account



Now as you can clearly see here, he has been pretty active on that account. Since then He has increased his karma from 3.6K to 15K and has also become a moderator of 2 subreddits. Also, his last post was added 3 days ago. In short, everything was absolutely fine from my end.

Out of nowhere I received this message from Paypal.



I don't know how this will go since I've only recently started using Paypal so I don't know who usually wins in such cases. However I will take care of it.

As for BHW, this community needs to know about his tactics so the seller's are careful when dealing with him. Thanks

Hey admin. Seems like he's not going to return back soon. Just checked the account and he's still posting on that account. This is really pissing me off.



Not sure after how many days he'll return back but maybe he really deserves to be banned from BHW so that he doesn't do this to other sellers.

I asked for a partial refund, not a full refund because the account you provided wasn't built and managed on a unique ip address as you said (was created with an ip from Pakistan, then managed with a proxy ip form US). Also, it was banned in some large subreddits like r/pics, before I use it. And please check again when I open the dispute: before you deliver the account, because it seemed strange to last so long to provide an email address and a password (3 days).

1. It was built on an Ip from pakistan. So ? It was still a unique ip. So you only consider the IP unique if they're built on USA ip addresses. As long as there are no other accounts being made on the same IP, I consider them to be unique.

2. My service clearly mentions that it require 3 days for me to deliver, if you had any problems with this, why did you even buy?

3. No it wasn't banned from any subreddit at the time I delivered. Even if it were, did you message me regarding this issue within the first 48 hours?

4. "And please check again when I open the dispute: before you deliver the account", You opened the dispute before I delivered the account? Wow, that's interesting.

And by the way, I never built the account. All my accounts are made years ago so it doesn't really matter on which IP they were made. As for the managing part, it was managed on a unique ip from the first time I logged in to it, till the time I last checked and delivered it to you.

I sold you the account on 27th Feb. and your account was running fine until 19th March.
You never mentioned any problems with the account yet you reversed the payment. You bought 1000 karma from me yet I added 3.6K karma to your account.
If you're saying that your account got banned 1 week after you purchased it, you're lying.
Maybe you should explain your situation on the shitlist thread.

I'm sorry I treated this situation as a joke, but now I'll try to clarify some things.

As I said, I started a Paypal dispute because, for such a service (a username and a password), it seems suspicious that I haven't received anything from the seller after a few days.

Also, I didn't want to get a cheap account, where the seller gets the main karma after a sale is made and resell it to me at a price of 10x higher. For $20 I was expecting a quality account with constant activity on Reddit.

Maybe I did the wrong thing when I opened the dispute, but this was my first instinct.

Two days after that, I received a mail from the seller with the login credentials for a Reddit account. Now I'm asking why he sent them after the dispute had been opened???

As I suspected, this was a cheap account created on an IP in Pakistan and then managed from a USA IP. Clearly, this was not built and managed on a unique IP address as the seller said in his thread. That's why I didn't close the dispute at that time and I decided for a partial refund.

However, shortly after I received this account it has been banned by Reddit. I'm pretty sure the seller has tried to log in with the old credentials, then reported the account was hacked and Reddit closed it.

I'm a very active Reddit user, with dozens of other accounts and moderator of some large communities. Obviously, I know how Reddit works and the account wasn't banned through karma farming as the seller accuses me.

I haven't replied in this thread until now because I tried to negotiate with the seller, but this is an arrogant and unresponsive person.

I've never tried to scam this person and the only thing I have done wrong was to open the dispute and that's because I didn't know how to proceed at that time.

I was about to write long replies to the points you made here. But then I though, its useless since my situation is pretty clear.
I'll wait to see what @MisterF has to say on this matter.
