Well, we, the eurotards, made another progress.i personally use perplexity by default, however i also use both deepseek and chatgpt when necessary. no need to get married to any one model imo. use what's best for the task at hand.

For now, once the API and chat interface is scaled to handle the server load, I'd use Deepseeka a lot more. I also want to see if they launch a finetune model and maybe multi-model models.
Okay I am back after a few days after trying out the Deepseek API. It is very slow compared to Open AI API, sometimes even taking twice as long. I thought I would get 4o benefits at the price of mini but the speed makes it prohibitive for API use.
And ever since 2 days after it's release I also keep getting the "The server is busy" message all the time.
