Funny considering DeepSeek is ~45x more efficient during training, based on all the technical innovations they've created which are well documented (that's partly why they've open sourced it, to brag). It's the other way around.

i personally use perplexity by default, however i also use both deepseek and chatgpt when necessary. no need to get married to any one model imo. use what's best for the task at hand.

I have testes both, both perform good but in my opinion ChatGPT is still better than deepseek, the difference here is the budget difference, for their budget you can say that deepseek is awesome, but chatgpt is still better for me
