Deep malware scan on shared hosting?

Are there still ways to do "deep malware scans" going through all files of any (or all) of my clients? Perhaps a simple PHP file I can drop in the public/ root of a client which I can execute through my browser? Surely there must something out there I hope?

I often have problems, most of the times from clients who download premium themes for free on dodgy websites which is infected with malware, mining and so on... even things such at domain.com/wp-includes/sbf7d.php (which in fact is basically a webshell.php) and can be quite dangerous.

Thanks for any recommendations. Preferably free solutions, but if not, I'm ok for paying for it also, as I feel -even without root access- being a provider of shared web hosting to do my best to protect and/or warn my clients.
