Which one is the most reliable?

We all know google does not use all these parameters for ranking your website but lets say you are going to buy an expired domain to build an authority website or buying links from PBNs OR doing some research on your competitors.

Which one is the most reliable?

I think it's better to look at the number of referring domains and trustflow.
 
If someone forced me just to rely just upon in 1 metric, I would end leaving this business.

There is no 1 single metric that is trusty enough for me. Not even for mass checking.

I have been disappointed by these metrics more times than I can count. The only metric I care about is traffic.
 
may be DA and RD..with spam check,
 
Blend between the 3, if any are not correlating then something is likely off.
 
DA can be easily manipulated.
RD can be manipulated too, but to a lesser extent.
TF is hard to manipulate as it is costly.

I'd choose a combination of RD and TF, but if I have to choose one, it'd be TF.
 
I would choose trust flow. Higher TF will have good quality links. And spam score is also important to check.
 
They can all be manipulated. But it's hard to have a high round count and high TF unless a lot of the links are high quality. So that combination would probably be the best.
 
I agree with you. Traffic and engagement are the most important.

If you are looking at these matrices to decide from which site you should take links from then.... First, see the traffic, then DA, than any other matrix. These days... DA reflects the quality of engagement and traffic and this is the future.

If I had to choose one I'd go with dr as ahrefs is the tool I use the most, even though I don't entirely agree with its algorithms.

But to be honest, PageRank still has a big place in my heart. <3
 
I choose reffering domain (ahref) and linking domain (moz) for backlink criteria then in monitoring the strength of my money site I used DR and TF.
 
Each metrics has their own specials, I prefer DR/DA for domain value and TF for page with RD can be fine!
