    Here's the thing about these web 2 sites. Google knows what they are and they value the domain and service to the internet. They are also very much aware that they are used for SEO, but you can still do well with them, to a degree. What you really need to understand is that just because a service like blogger et al have a high DA - domain authority - the crappy pages that we build do not. Thus you still need to build links to them like any other site.

    Their value is that they are free/disposable and their parent is regarded well by google
    Their negatives are that you can build quality content and links and still lose the page if the web 2 sees it as a blatant pbn.

    Basically the da of the parent does not mean a thing....other than a tiny bit of authority

    I agree completely. Out of curiosity what type of links do you build to them?

    There are a couple of current journeys which are really good covering this but for a T1, regardless of if it is web 2 or personal domain I would build high quality profile links, niche related comments, forums, anything which is high TF and/or buy some high TF services from the marketplace.

    Ones I have used are;

    @Aiden_1 - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/2...mumtf20-cf20-da15-pa15-unique-content.895277/

    @Linkzo - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/l...inks-on-unique-contents-offers-inside.862787/

    The problem I seem to have, is that I focus so much on creating quality T1 sites, that I end up turning them into actual money sites, which is not a bad thing in some ways but it is diluting the time I should be spending in building T1/T2/T3 links and not focusing on content and ranking higher in top 10. I'll get there or eventually hire a VA.

    This from @WebMinati might also help answer your question.

    "Thought I would add few more questions that should be beneficial to anyone here:

    1) Do you use cheaper links for your 'no follow' links ?
    2) How many links are good enough for parasite web 2.0's . The reason I am asking is that I usually do 1 round of diversity and pbn
    (if months later most of these are still alive, do you usually do more tier 2 links on them ?)
    3) What percentage of links out of the total links you have are built towards the homepage ?
    4) How do you treat links built on your homepage vs inner page ? what is the difference in the link strategy ?
    5) Also wanted to ask. The Guest posts you don't buy them from BHW right. You get them somewhere else ?

    ------------------

    1) answered above.
    2) if I build an 1 page web2.0, I usually just point cheap gsa and stuff. If it's 5-10 page web2.0 then I usually go for better pbns. Web2.0 + pbns pushes rankings af. I make links to my main web2.0s over time :)
    3) Depends. Niche website will get 30% links on the homepage and authority site will get 70% links on the homepage. With active link building

    4) I try to keep it natural like the #1 site in my niche...
    Comes with experience imo.

    5) Bhw guest posts are Fiverr resellers 90% of the time. You're better off buying it from Fiverr or getting a VA to outreach to a list you scrape. I say no to bhw guest post sellers :l "
