they are going to force users to link all the old accounts to microsoft? does that mean that the old usernames will have live in front of them?Same here but i think they are doing force so it is mandatory now.

No. If you make a new one, It will be forced. OLD ones are still working fine.
they should at least delete the live from the usernames. I don't mind the fact that the email is the username or that the account is linked to ms but they could at least let use remove the live There are a lot of users on the ms support page demanding the same thing.

When is this live thing implemented from ? I created some accounts a month back and they just have email as username.
I don't know when exactly but all the new accounts I have seen have live in front of the username. It looks ridiculous. Like I said, a lot of users on the ms support page want it gone. I hope ms deletes it
yeah that's a bummer but I think most people have gotten used to not being able to chose a username and have the email as username. What most users hate and can't get used to is the live in front of the username
