Custom audience from Facebook user ids

I have a large dataset of 9 million facebook user ids scraped from a third party application, which I am planning to segment based on other user data scraped from their accounts on this third party app. Can I create a custom audience from just the user ids?

When I tried to upload a sample csv with a single column of uids I got the error "This data isn't mapped. If you choose not to map a data type it won't be uploaded and used"

If it is not possible to create an audience from just a list of uids, are there any scraping tools I can use to get other information about these users (name, email, etc) that can then be used to create an audience?

This should work. When you create a custom audience from "customer list" (chuckle) it says "Include at least one main identifier" and below "We recommend including multiple main identifiers to increase your match rate." So to me this means multiple IDs are optional.

Have you double checked that you have used the right column header? This is a bit confusing...
There is pageuid for FB page ID, appuid for FB SDK users. Then there is uid which would seem to me to be FB ID but the FAQ says "An ID corresponding to someone who uses an app that can be retrieved through the Facebook SDK. We accept numerical user IDs associated with your Facebook application."

Seems to me the documentation is a buggy there.

I would try uploading 3 different csvs trying each identifer and then see what happens.

Not possible since few months back. FB began enforcing the use of emails or phones to create custom audience. Or you need user interaction with your page or app. Only then pure UIDs can be used. These measures are taken by FB to prevent exactly what you are trying to do.

It still can be done but not directly and involves bits of real SMM.
 
You can try to get emails and phones by scraping too. But people report the rate of 10 emails per 80k group or so. Because some time ago FB introduced profile privacy settings defaulting to make emails and phones private. Very few people have their contact info exposed.

That's a bummer. What tools can I use to do this? I've seen X2Emails mentioned, is that reliable for scraping email/phone from user id?

I guess they work x2emails included but the gain is only that much. Such tools seem to be on decline and dying.

could I just change the uids to [email protected] and categorize them as emails? I successfully created an audience this way but not sure if it's actually matching to the real accounts
 
X2emails is just stole my 650 dollars, they are verified scammers known by everyone else, they rip their a$$ off in Trust pilot to appear legit but it doesnt working
 
im trying to find a paid service/ third party application that will help me create such a dataset, but no luck....
could you tell me / get me in touch?
im willing to pay quite a lot
 
I think those tools don't work. If any party offers you an offer, consider carefully because it could be a scam
