Hi I'm looking for a tool/software which can track crypto mentions and some sentiment analysis with some charting on both. Ideal platforms to track being:

- Reddit
- Twitter
- Fourch@n
- Telegram (dependent on many factors ofc)
- Steemit
- Others?

Ideally this would be real time or close to real time. Is there anything like this in the market that doesn't cost an arm and a leg or a free option? Or any developers out there with experience in this domain / even a google sheets implementation of some sort.

It's been tried by more than a few in the past, and the guys I've talked with said it's a really difficult thing. And even more difficult to implement into a trading strategy, because crypto does what it wants.

You might check this out for ideas

Thanks for sharing @CryptoKuijira. I have a couple of links too but they're just everywhere and i feel some of them just aren't fetching the actual data but just some. I'm not looking for trading but more for research on sentiment and mentions volumes - but yeah will keep an eye out!

I know of a few Twitter guys who are "trying" to sell their sentiment trackers, but I think they're all garbage. I don't give much relevance to news, but overall sentiment "can be" useful, as long as you don't give it too much relevance. I'm someone who follows the charts and what they tell me. It's all a probability game, but it's much better than relying on fake news (the cryptosphere has a ton of it) or news that never puts a dent in the crypto market.

Sentiments for crypto can absolutely be noise when predicting how the market could go. A billion people can say it would crash then in the next week you’d see it fly off to the moon. It’s a difficult game. But there are people on twitter that does that, you just need to put in the right hashtags or even “$BTC” and read through the tweets. You might encounter someone selling their sentiment tracker.

Coin.fyi It's an easy to use portfolio that tracks all your crypto investments. It even supports new coins. I recommend it 100 percent

There was a coin called TKR cryptotracker or somehting like that. They had and app and they had everything but it just didn't take off like that. Those portfolios are hit or miss. even if you have a good one, it can still fail. I just say find something thats good for everyone.

Thanks for the suggestions, but hmm don't see a sentiment part there on coin.fyi

Anyone know where I can find sentiment LIVE data for long/short trade?

A bit off topic - did you recover from the BTC hit you took that was real money a while back?

Most accurate tool I know is a coin. Just flip it and you'll get the trend you're looking for

What if someone has a army of bots actually scraping reddit/twitter/google trends for all pairs on coinmarketcap.
mostly key numbers like: Tweets / Followers / mentions / username mentions, brand mentions, etc,
Simular figures for reddit.
All with historical reach.
in excel format.

As we are still busy processing all the TA data and finding treasures in there our social data is just, sitting there.
Let me know if someone had this kind of data in mind, perhaps we can think of something to make it worthwile :)

In forex we got banks, I believe in crypto we got some kind of big organizations with lots of money that have been manipulate this cryoto market consistently.

There are many methods to "manipulate" a market using various techniques.
Or are these just called strategies used with big volumes?

For every strategy there are counter strategies,
Bull and Bear clashing,

What does dictate the direction of a market?

The crypto market is quite a public thing, available for everyone, everyone watches the same youtube videos, using similar strategies,
We know a crypto coin is a community based company, one without does simply not get spotted / get volume / Attention of influences.

Using this think line we started looking for data offers regarding these topics and also found little providers for crypto social data.
Even the expensive services offer just a tip of the mountain what they could scrape. (Wonder why)

Just wanted to share we have this data and if there is interest we can work something out for a steady stream of fresh / live data in any form you want :)
