So, what up people? hope all is well.

Volume 1 of the journey was over.

Little thing or two about me, I have been into App Marketing business for 5+ years now, worked with tons of start ups, projects and etc. And I always wanted to do my own thing, and few months ago, I gave it a shot. I had no clue how to use android studio, but I learned, and most important skill of mine is utilizing AI properly.

1. I have successfully created apps on play store and they are making few dollars per day, now it has become passive income. Will I scale it? of course. I got super old dev account, which means my apps get approved easily. Also there are other benefits, on average I get around 200-400 installs per day.

For a long time, I wanted to try IOS, so, finally got a dev account and kicked off the show, since I did not have mac, I had to find a way around it, and solution came. I rented a Mac Pro, for $100 a month, and it's latest ( I think ). So, far I am happy with that.

Now real show will begin, because I plan to create tons of apps on IOS, and monetize them with in app purchases, while play store is bringing cash with ads. For last 3 days, I have been learning, how to code in xcode, well I must say, it's total opposite of Android studio, and to be honest much more buggy. I am not gonna lie, apple has been total pain, in terms of their system and etc. very, very disappointing.

But now, I have grasped thing or two, and got few apps ready, just waiting apple to resolve issue) from their side.

So here are some advices for me, so far what I have learned.

QA
1. As a newbie which one is easier to code/work with, play store or app store? hands down play store is easier, and android studio too.
2. What do u think which one has more potential to bring money? def app store/ios. I have seen this over and over again. IOS has much more potential.
3. Common, issues with play store? constant updates of algorithms, oh and sometimes they remove app for no reason, or reject app for no reason, have not happened to me for a while but this def happens.
4. Issues with app store? so far, everything.
5. Xcode vs Android Studio? Android studio everyday, but must admit apps that I coded with Xcode looked 10X better.

Now, now I know u wanna know, how the heck am I able to code apps? well of course AI, here are few things I noticed, for Android, (play store apps) Gemini, is the KING. No, AI even comes close, it's pro version codes very complex stuff easily. But for IOS, I noticed Chat GPT is doing job well, others? not so much, maybe claude. But for now Chat GPT is a must.

Questions are welcome, will try to answer at best of my knowledge.

Thanks!

$100 per month just to build ios apps? Why didn't you choose a $500 mac mini?

It's only for this month, just testing waters and learning but by end of this months will have few high quality apps on app store, and def will get mac. And i have many, other costs too, so project cost would sky rocket, want to put some cash into advertising and etc. too.

And that's a good suggestion, will definitely get one.

Wishing you all the best in this journey! A few questions

Have you considered using a cross-platform tool to create these apps, such as React Native or Flutter? That way you can just use one codebase and compile Android and iOS versions of them
How do you find quality ideas for creating apps?
Are you integrating with any Third Party APIs for your apps?

Sometimes you just need to test like crazy until the path reveals itself

Here is an update.

IOS

I got 3 apps ready, 1 is live now. 2 is pending for approval.

One thing is, these are high quality apps, I went back and combined chatgpt and gemini ( pro ). turned out to be great combination.

I have learned how to fully integrate IAP's in apps, and now it's super easy, learned how to integrate paywalls too, that turned out to be a work for a day.

Lets keep our fingers crossed and see that apps get approved. can't wait to get a first purchase.

As for play store, things are fine))brining passive income. But I will have to put more apps there too, in integrate in app purchases specially in utility niche since I got few of them as well.

All three apps got approved. Waiting them to take off, and here is one of my apps. Got the first purchase. I didn't have paywall integrated))) I mean it was not that good, now lets see how new one will perform.

WarlordYT

In app purchase rate kinda sucked though))) but it was my fault))) 90% of my installs are from tier 1 countries.)))

And it's a simple app, so it's one time purchase of $2))

Other apps, are subscription based though.

one more app is pending for approval, now bit out of ideas, and gotta do research.

I will upload stats of other apps too, once updates show

I checked around a bit.

People say, that apple gives new apps initial boost for 3-5 days. Lets see if that's true and if my app will sustain conversion rate and installs that it's getting.

The earning potential of iOS apps is higher I think, so it's good that you are entering that market too. Good luck and keep us posted! ;)

Chatgpt writes better code. I build a nice SaaS with it.
Good luck with your journey. I will follow.

Anybody got idea, how to improve in app sales?

I get installs from tier1 countries, but out of 220 downloads only 1 sale.

But I updated few things yesterday, and lets see. Hope it improves.

It looks promising. How do you plan what apps to create? Do you solve problems or copy existing apps that are successful?

Good luck with your journey, solid plans and a promising start
Thanks.

I try not to copy and find something original.

It's hard to compete with already established apps.

I want to see all 3 apps stats together ))) then I will have bit bigger picture

One more app got approved, overall got 4 approved apps on app store.

Ah this is exciting, soon should receive first stats))) of 3 apps and will show it here.

Just bit upset that I am already ranking for few keywords at #1 position and getting downloads and no sales))))

Keep it up. And best of luck to reach your goals.
