Create Website and Sell to Owners (Method that generates $6000 Per Month)

I would add investing max $100 to hire someone to make it in html and css not directly in Wordpress to stay away from the crowd

I am also trying to intend on this way. But I am not sure how I can start?
I think you have a knack for finding cool business owners who can pay in return of your project.
What kind of niche have you ever tried?
I hope you to share about the niches you succeeded.

Don't you have to put HOURS into creating such a site ? They will probably want to change a bunch of stuff. Why not just offer web design services at that point ?

If you have the time and are getting nothing for it, why not?
Secondly, the first few will take a few hours, but when you get the point and collect a few CSS cheat sheets, it's much easier to sharpen your skills, even if you have not sold one! You can always add them all to your portfolio, and that's priceless!
I will empower everyone who has tried this method but did not get any job from it to contact me; I'll find you a job that can feed a family of 3 for a few months to a year.
 
I’d recommend two things: 1. Instead of purchasing a domain for each website, buy one domain for your web design business and use subdomains. 2. Call the business to verify that they are still open and will be for the foreseeable future. In my cold calling experience, majority of the businesses without a website in this day and age are all service-based (plumbers, electricians) that are able to survive by word-of-mouth and are run by guys in their 50s and 60s who are nearing retirement and don't care to invest further.

Again, websites have been the bare minimum for businesses of all sizes for well over a decade. If a business still doesn’t have one, do you really think you’ll change their mind?

Instead of hunting existing businesses with no website or online presence I targeted existing businesses with no website currently but had one in the past.

Cold calling them and discussing to know why they abandoned it and making a curated offer to suit their needs.

Last year I secured 37 schools, 5 sports realated, 55 health, fitness, doctors, private clinics website deals with this method.

This year I am targeting a huge list of local businesses in beauty & makeup niche.

Over 65% conversion rate and going strong.

With festive and marriage season around in couple of months I will also have access to a targetted audience in this niche to pitch offers.

There a lot of ways to scale and upsell other services & offers with this method.

This is the best approach for this method
And of course, don't buy the domain, this would generate much more expenses and you would become in loss until you finally find someone willing to buy a website, it would reduce your profits in vain.

What type of clients are you looking for? Do you always target the same industry? Are there industries that pay more than others?

Has anyone actually tried the method he presented and gotten good results?
 
Solid foot-in-the-door tactic. Key is turning that $300 site into long-term value - ongoing SEO, lead gen, etc. Otherwise, acquisition cost eats profit. What's the upsell strategy to boost LTV?
 
I feel like if your conversion rate is low, you're gonna be doing a lot of work for no monetary compensation (although you can include it in your portfolio)
 
I tried this once, but the business owner didn't like it that much.
 
This will not work, people won't even reply to your email, buying your website will be impossible.

Outreach is difficult, most people don't even check emails, some won't even open your mails - if you get some one to even read your email - they won't reply after reading.
 
Instead of creating a specific to him business. Create a website for that niche and contact 10 businesses in a similar niche, and you could sell that website to 1 of them.

This is solid advice :cool:
 
It's not a good option in 2025 so don't try it. It's better to work on 1 or 2 local businesses and rent them out after getting traffic.
Choose some easy and local keywords and combine them with a good design. you can easily hit $1/month from each
 
I would like to implement this idea, but I'm having difficulty understanding how to proceed. How can I identify businesses that do not have a website?
