So I tried logging back into my CPAlead account (I had one a while ago), but it seems like it was removed or deactivated. Fair enough, networks often purge inactive accounts.

Anyway, I decided to create a new account, and at the very end of the application I was hit with this message:

I’ve been in the game for many years, and I’ve never seen a network require $$$ fee just to join. Honestly, it feels like an exit scam, but I’m not sure.

Has anyone here actually paid the fee to get in? If so, was it worth it? Is CPAlead performing that well these days to justify charging publishers upfront?

Thanks.

Lmao, CPA lead is not even a "real" affiliate network, most of their offers are brokered or re-brokered or even more.

No shit, they attract a lot of scammers, it's the audience they market for, as no solid affiliate would choose CPA lead, and this is ridiculous.

Just make the minimum payout higher, not like this (Face palm)

EDIT: To explain, brokering means they often use another affiliate network to get the offers from, so let's say the original offer owner gives you 30 USD, another network takes it and gives you 28 USD than CPA Lead takes it and gives you 26 USD.

Then calculate that each party takes at least 10 to 20% of all the leads you generate.

Might be fine when you are starting out.

They give bad reputation to CPA industry. Their offers are so bad it hurts.

I was never a big fan of them back when I had access, but I figured I’d give it another shot since I came across a couple of offers I haven’t seen on my other networks. But charging a membership fee just to join as a publisher? That’s a first for me. Ts feels like a straight-up scam you’d expect to see on the dark web, lmao.

Actually they have some good offers but apparently they don't convert?

In my opinion, they really don't also you can just go directly to Google their top offers, such as Wirex

https://wirexapp.com/affiliate

And so forth.

They just take a big cut but I don't mind that I don't work with them or ever did just saying it's more of a kid's network and the 100 usd sounds pretty messed up.

First time I've heard of this happening in the CPA industry. It may be an attempt to avoid people scamming leads but it's hard to see how this is going to work for them

Wrong mindset to increase their earnings, it will probably lead to a severe impact on new members

They will probably regret this measure and give it up soon

Lol they say they are prioritizing "serious affiliates" but at the same time scaring them away because no "serious affiliate" is going to pay anything. You have to pay them.

Paying to get access to offers is crazy.

Most CPA networks don’t charge upfront, this feels like a scam attempt

Hahah.. If they offer free to join there network do not do. Worst network industry all offers not convertible and low payout, use @ogads or adgainmedia, charmads for email submit offer.

Even though I stopped at the payment page, they still emailed me saying, “We liked your application and approved you, but you need to hit the weekly goal you set, blah blah…”

After seeing their offers in real time, I immediately deactivated my account.

Which CPA network did you end up joining?

Which CPA network did you end up joining?

I’m already active with the biggest networks, like AdBlueMedia and OGAds, so I haven’t joined any new one.

I have a cpalead account from 2024 but I never promoted any offer. They must have added this recently. Too many applications? That's it ? That's the reason?

I had one from 2018 too, but it looks like they might have removed old inactive accounts.

Anyway this network is officially dead imho.

1 month deadline to make back 100$ or its lost is kinda rough thb, but it's a doggy dog world out there. Peopleperhour( is a freelancer company) is doing 1 month thing since 10 years back.
