Hey guys,

I been doing well with a online health business I have. Also, have an offline business. My question is when can you get someone in trouble for copying your idea? Yeah, I outsource my products and I did see these products before a little differently made but I noticed some people are starting to do the same with the products I outsourced. The wording is the same, colors, etc.

When is the best route to go? Or can any competitor do what you're doing as far as creating products?

Thanks

If you don't have a copyright, trademark or patent, there is nothing you can do about it. Even if you have a trademark on your product they can copy it (identical look and colors) as long as they don't mention your brand name. Just look on amazon, and you'll see how widespread this practice is.

There is absolutely nothing you can do. If you have a unique product and own Worldwide patents then you could sue, but that is costly. You just have to accept that people will copy.

I have products I produced and noticed a lot of people been doing the same. I don't give a shit... I just do a better job!

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do. I've personally have gone thru this several times in my business life is called "Competition".

Insure that your customer service is above all.
Offer a solid warranty/Guarantee.
Offer return customers a value discount.

You can't do anything unless they are infringing on your trademark or if they are copying it completely.
