Copying a site entirely and translating it into another language works?

I ask you this question because a friend of mine did translate his blog into another language, but without declaring it to google and I have not suffered any penalization, indeed the site is positioning itself well.

So if I translate websites that are not mine, in other languages, it could work?

Of course it works. It's basically content rewriting. Google has no way to know if you translate it by hand.

And if instead we talk about using google translate?

Because I see that in some languages it translates really well and all you need to do is make small adjustments. In that case, does it work the same? Or can google understand it in some way using the engine behind google translate?

I've heard Yandex Is better. However I'm no master of languages, so could not say. There is an rss auto blog scraper using Handed though. Scrape, translate and publish enough shite. I'm sure you will generate traffic.
 
Your method will work, but if you use Google Translator you're in for a world of pain. Only translate the content in languages you're familiar with.

No, google not updated yet for that. You can easily use the translated content for your website.

I'm advising you to translate the content only if you're familiar with the original language.
 
Works like a charm, just make sure the content is readable.
 
Google translate is a good tool to help you understand a word or two you don't know. If you translate a whole article, I think nobody will read it...

Google translate, translate very good in my language, so for this reason i ask if is better translate alone or with google translate.
 
use word translate and use grammerly ...

translation every part of english content and description will make a new website .

use a domain .ext with there country exstention.
