Convert my website into brand

I want to make my website a brand and get the website mentioned in forbes or mashable or any renowned news publication. Any help would be highly appreciated !
Let me know the steps i needs to take. Currently my website is offering hosting product and has customers on board and operating from 2 years with DA 85

Brand is just trust and being recognisable. Make sure you stand out, do excellent work and please your customers, ask them to leave reviews, put out a lot of content and establish yourself as an authority.
 
how to establish myself as an authority? Can you please let me know the steps ?
 
There is no real guide to follow.

Put out a lot of content, teach people what you do, show people that you know what you are doing and do this consistently for many years and then if you do a good job you will become a brand.
 
Books about brand building are what you need if you want to build a brand, and it's not about your website (well, it's only a part of the brand).
 
Brah, there are steps you need to take. But we don't know them, because most of us are just affiliate marketers promoting little shitty blogs LOL (me included).

You need to hire a brand expert, you might be able to find some on upwork.com. But it will cost you probably $1k just to come up with strategy, then another $1k to implement it, and if you want continued advice/support then probably another $500/month or so.

You may contact those websites and pay for your link placement.
They are really high authority sites.

I did but now i needs to know a perfect solid plan that could do the trick for my website which can set apart the competition from it competitors

As for placing links on authority sites, we have several sellers in the marketplace..

As for a solid plan, hire someone who has worked in such environments and/or knows how to build a brand. Asking on forums isn't gonna help much IMHO.

As for becoming a brand, take care of your product first. You can't ever become a popular hosting provider, if your hosting sucks (not saying it does as I haven't used your service yet).
 
i think they are two separate things
building a successful brand is about making all your communications (visual, content, values) match with your product offering and customer needs. why would a customer use you over namecheap, digitalocean, etc?
to get your website mentioned in large news publications you either 1. pay a large amount of money and/or 2. write a story which is viral/clickbait which they would be interested in featuring

Just because YOU don't know the steps, doesn't mean there aren't any steps or that other people that have specialised in branding don't know the steps.

Do you get $$$$? Yes, Its damn easy, pay almost every other news site or blog in your niche to discuss about your product or service or whatever shit you are selling. Don't have money? Just go to sleep.
 
Infographics, if you make a really quality infograph that is relevant to the topic, email, and offer it as supplemental information. I wouldn't ask for anything, you could get a nice follow or nf link out of it, just for providing helpful info to the reader.
