I don't believe in it. If it would be true and everyone would start to use that bot, the Internet would be full of auto-generated content used for SEO. Google would have to write algorithms to distinguish human content from that bot content, and if it would be impossible, the whole internet content would have 0 rank factor. Now agencies produce human content with money (hiring copywriters) and compete with other agencies with the amount and quality of that human content, then every agency would be able to create infinity amount of bot-created content with the same quality - so what is the point?

That's crazy. It sure can change the game if launched to masses (and I hope that day never comes.)
However, I still feel content writers need not worry as of now. It's far from being perfect and I'm sure it'll cost a leg an arm which not everyone will be able to afford.
Also, Google will somehow manage to tackle this and reward original content.

Google is too big for letting someone destroy their business. Guy will be paid to sell that bot or just will "sudden disappear".

The writing is better than your typical spinner, but the writing is still poor. If one of my writers came back to me with an article of similar quality, I'd let them go on the spot.

So, some algorithm is gonna come in and be a better writer than Mark Twain soon, yet Siri can't even answer a simple f**king question that's not about the weather or something on my reminders list. And I still don't see any self driving cargo trucks on the street. If you're a writer, you probably have a solid 25+ years before you should genuinely be worried about robots stealing your jobs, if that day ever even comes.

Yeah they kinda said that in GPT-2 era lol, but now GPT-3 is in invite beta stage and will provide API for commercial use later, full model, 700 times larger dataset than GPT-2 you guess it, so...
Yeah they currently only invite to beta, not easy to get it though.

While some content shown in some place like OpenAI's demo (which, like any other company they would use to market their stuff). I suspect it is the best case with a lot of training data for the auto-generative algorithms to work. In other words, what we see in such showcases is the best stuff pinpointed on some focused area, nothing generic. AI will take much more time to be there.
By the time AI reaches that level for writing, it will be at similar or better levels for many other tasks (note, writing is an intellectually difficult task, and nuanced writing is devilishly difficult), so many other things will probably be at risk before it. I would not worry too much about it just yet. Future - we shall see.

I see this as an opportunity. One could move forward to the expertise of managing this kind of new paradigms.
At the same time I feel things start to become slightly more boring
And the actual menace is for webmasters by themselves, because Google is clearly planning to take over sites rewriting their content through AI and satisfying most intents straight on the SERPS without having to access. Only very specific services will be worth "clicking".
Even GPT-3 can be a menace to low-key programmers because AI can be replacing classic methods of coding to solve common algorithms.
