Hi, I started using Wordpress and facing some problems - Do you guys use any content protection on your WordPress sites? I installed this plugin where it prevents everyone including me to do right click and select words and sentences and everything to save and download from my site. Do you think people will get annoyed if they can't do right click?

- And regarding security, I just made this WordPress site 2 days ago and I have not done any SEO or any kind of traffic thing and yet wordfence blocked these IPs from Ukraine and France.

How can people know about my site that is only around 2 days old with no SEO or traffic of any kind? Are these bots and spammers?

- And what are the necessary and recommended plugins for a blog for maximum smoothness of work and productivity?

PS: I'm newbie to wordpress, hence I am having such issues.

Thanks in advance.

Your Visitors can make good use of the Shaare buttons if they need to show your content else where.
Had it on my site too so no one copies from me

Alright and can you tell about those IPs from ukraine and france? Do you think those are spam?

I personally hate websites that wont let me highlight words when im reading.
but that's just me

It would be better you implement user experience trackers that’s way you can check this IP’s to see what they actually did when they visited that way you make a sound judgement

Name of such plugin?

The 10$ per month DMCA plugin is doing a good job by protecting my site. But about those IP at wordfence, don't mind them. I have thousands of them per day.

I only wanted to know how did they get to know about my site which is only approx 2 days old?

yes I am. Do you think it was my own web hoster?

No, it's just these guys find the site and you are hosting there too. If you are on a shared hosting it means on the same IP there are at least 20-100 other sites. If the guy finds one, he finds all of you.

OMG. Then I don't have any privacy? So, everyone doing serious online business gets dedicated hosting?

I used a plugin once that ads a source snippet to the end of whatever content someone copied from your site (including a link). That might be a better idea - less annoying for your visitors and it might end up generating a few backlinks as well.

No one does if they are using shared hosting. That's why you should use dedicated in all means.
Really? so everyone doing ecom, affiliate and all other stuffs uses dedicated? Pricing is high tho around $100 a month.

No idea who uses what. If I would have a serious project, dedicated or VPS is way to go
