....Facebook Ads, Instagram, and Google Ads are essential parts of an eCommerce business.

I’ve seen experts posting case studies regarding their ads running, and most of the time, it’s about increasing the sales of an E-com site.

Without a doubt, anyone entering the Ecom race should brace themselves for a heavy ad spend.

But how many of them are actually focused on Content Marketing.

Recent discussions with some dropshipping business and Ecom site owners revealed that they don’t need Content- The reason was apparent, though.
Here are some quick Content Marketing Hacks that you can use to boost your sales and branding in the long term. This can no way substitute ads since for Ecom, quick sales and cash are most important.

BLOG + NEWSLETTER CAN GET YOU A MORE LOYAL EMAIL DATABASE THAN LEAD MAGNET + NEWSLETTER.
When someone reads a blog, gets help, and is looking to consume more, they always look for ways to stay connected. At that time, the follower you get is more willing to open your next mail than someone who just gave their mail for one time lead magnet! Don’t you think so?

ECOM SITES + LISTICLE IS WAYYYY BETTER KILLER COMBINATION!
Many of us do affiliate marketing. Choosing products from Amazon and other sites and writing review articles of the best ones. Right? What would happen if Amazon would have done that officially for their own products only?
Similarly, why not do the same for your sites as well? The more the traffic, the more the number of sales. The best part, you get to keep all the revenue yourself ;)

FOCUS ON THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Descriptions that provoke emotion in the mind of readers get more views. Of course, you need to provoke Google as well, and the only way to that is to write SEO descriptions with properly optimized yet emotional product descriptions.

MANAGE YOUR ECOM SITE AS IF IT’S YOUR AFFILIATE CONTENT SITE
Don’t set a budget just for ads. Go organic. Put Contents, review the best products from your arsenal by ranking it on the basis of reviews, purchases, and other feedbacks. Be honest and don’t uplift every product.
Do interlinkings and get backlinks. In short, just manage it as if it’s your own affiliate content site, where the products are your own, instead of taking them from Amazon.

EMAIL MARKETING IS THE BEST WAY TO KEEP YOUR AUDIENCE WARM.
Need I say more?

While doing Content Marketing, choosing KPIs focuses on bringing traffic and increasing page views by double every week.

The most critical factor is to make a perfect blend of Blog strategy using info, commercial-based articles.

What is your take on it? Tag and mention an eCom business owner so that he can get some help from this.

P.S: Observations are based on my Content Writing and Marketing experience!

I have done a lot of content marketing for own products: a combination of blogging, guest post outreach, social media content (multi-channels) and posted as much relevant, unique content as possible and indexed aggressively.

The advantage, of course, is that sometimes you get good rankings in Google: organic visitors = free consumers.

Yea but it isn't 'Sometimes'. If you do the stuff right, your ecom business can get atleast 100 + more sales every month. Just think of it. How many sales in an affiliate blog gives you 1000 $ in commission? And then get back to calculate how much revenue it will be when you're the sole owner of the product! ;-)

I don't agree with this statement there are many was where you can use Social Media spam, Influencer outreach and Seo to your advantage. But yes if you have deep pockets you can spend on AD's and get quick returns. I would always stress on building a brand value first if my ecom project is a long term focused. Jut look at Youtube you can use it to full potential to promote specific products even rank your videos in google. I will also say ecom business is not always about dropshipping.

Listicle marketing using Facebook's Lookalike Audience function is an old trick and it still works

The key is to market organically on Facebook by sharing your list articles' urls after you installed FB's pixel on your site

You then run a lookalike campaign based on the PROFILING DATA compiled by the pixel

Get more targeted eyeballs to your content and get them to sign up to your mailing list by offering a MUST HAVE *highly useful* high perceived value lead magnet.
