I'm working on building out a Web 2.0 blog network and need some advice. It seems the general consensus these days is that you need to be using 100% unique articles for tier 1 but what about using mixed content? By that I mean using spun or scraped articles for filler content but only 100% unique content for the articles with links to your money site.

That raises another question: how many times should you link out from each Web 2.0 to your money site?

For filler content here's what I do

I Google a article related to my main keyword, it can be anywhere from 200 to 500 words long. A huge part of SEO is keeping it random.

Then I copy and paste it into The Best Spinner and manually replace each word with two synonyms. I usually delete small parts of the article that are too difficult to spin (to increase uniqueness)

After that I switch the paragraphs around make a title from a sentence in the article.

In the end you should have 2 unique articles in the eyes of Google. If I check them side by side in The Best Spinners unique comparison tool they come out at 90â„…+ uniqueness.

It takes me less than 10 minutes now which is pretty quick for 2 300-500 word articles.

As for linking out to your money site I usually limit it to 2 per web 2.0. You can even do 3 if you have a couple filler posts with text.

There really is no real limit though it's just how risky you want to be. Some people link out 20 times and are fine. Depends on what type of monysite you are creating (affiliate, long term, parasite, etc.)

You can scrape old wikipedia articles, mix them together, and rewrite a few sentences/remove links & references. Check it in the plagiarism checker and you should be good for a couple tier 1 content articles.

Here's what I do for all of my web 2.0s:

1) *optional* Scrape ExpiredArticleHunter for 250+ word content that is unique, but not usable on my money site
2) Create 10 spintax articles on ArticleBuilder
3) Log into the web 2.0 and change the theme
4) Make a welcome post saying I am a non-native English speaker who is going to improve my English by writing about NICHE
5) Run 5-8 of the spintax articles through FreeArticleSpinner
6) Drip feed the 5-8 articles / ExpiredArticleHunter articles into the web 2.0 (if the site allows drip-feeding). One of these posts will have a link to my money site
7) Rinse and repeat

I have made well over 150 web 2.0s with this method and have yet to have one deleted or de-indexed.

Keep your website on Link Wheel,I mean at the end of every article,create one anchor text on generic article and insert your next web2.0 URL which will be perfect.

Build your tier 1 like money site...
if you do like this you will get a lot of direct traffic also will work in long term
don't build crappy content/link...

sure 100% unique is great but thats too much work or expensive. spinn and rewrite a little is good as well.

Mixed contents can be used for Tier-1 but make sure to check it with the plagiarism checker. But unique contents will be more effective.

What are the Article Builder "spintax articles"? Are they the super spun articles? I haven't used AB before but from what I understand they offer tips based articles as well as super spun articles. If they are already spun why would you spin them again and what about the readability of the articles?

You are better off putting in the time to create a good spintax that generates readable/unique content.

If Google sees it as a duplicate of the previous sources, it wont benefit you. The best indicator of a good web2.0 is if it's ranking for some terms on its own (doesnt have to be page 1 - just somewhere).
