I would like some help,

How do you know if a keyword is worth investing in? How to do the analysis if the chosen term is possible to rank?

If I have a good number of monthly searches for a term, how to do the analysis if it is a good investment in it?

Hi,

First, you need to demarcate between which kind of keyword you want to rank and in which region. After this, you can basically start KeyWord research on Keyword Planner Tool. For example, if you are providing a merchandise service, then you need to know your target audience locations and your competitor analysis. If the searches of your KW is high and the bid is also high, then probably paid ads would be running over it by other competitors. In my opinion, the best keyword is that which have low bid and high searches.

Apart from the info already provided, you can also use Ahrefs and Semrush to analyze competition (They have "Difficulty" metrics for keywords that basically show that).

Though, you can't fully rely on a single tool. Develop your own method by combining best practices - test it out and find what works.

You can use keyword explorer or Ahrefs to check the keyword difficulty
It's also good to check manually what search results google gives you when you search specific keywords: if you see old trusted domains in top-10 then probably your chances are not that high

Put your main keyword in search engine, Choose those sites who relevant your Product and website site, You can check also site title which gives you hints your competitor, Then you watch your competitor backlinks via backlinkwatch.com.

You can do manual keyword research on google. There are also tools to get a comprehensive report on your competitors like Spyfu and iSpionage.
