This is my first post on your esteemed forum. I hope will prove a valid member in time.
Now, about me. I'm a software developer who enjoys writing. When I face a coding problem that is not already adequately answered online, I often produce an article/tutorial for my own future reference.
Recently, I set up and hosted a little site that I coded to publish some of those tutorials. A few months and several articles later, I'm seeing traffic of some 150 monthly "active users", according to Google analytics.
It is a bit of work to ensure an article is clear and flows nicely, as well as produce accompanying clean and correct code. I find myself at a stage currently wondering about such a site's long-term prospects and returns.
I would like to get ads up and monetise at some later stage.
In need of a bit of assurance, may I draw on your experience and ask how do you feel about such a site? What do you think are my main challenges?
I intend to keep going and publishing code solutions, which are infinite in number!
Do you think such a site can drive sufficient traffic for monetisation?
