Good explain but old method google catch the cloaked links now a days these method are old
 
does ppl write their own proxies for this or just take a list of user agents?
 
Would be interesting if anyone published source code or a guide on how to set one up

Showing certain IPs a different landing page to the main money site and by redirecting and segregating traffic sources, marketers can shield their campaigns from spying competitors and other intrusive networks. There are many services available that give you access to software and training manuals to implement cloaking for Adwords, PPV, affiliate links and other marketing channels such as social media.

Thanks for this. Such an in-depth intro in one post. Follow up question, where do you find sites to host your cloaking page? I believe they have to be high extremely high authority sites? Can I PM you regarding your tool OP @itz_styx ?
 
no not really, you can cloak any site you want, new or old. sure just send a PM :)

thats a different issue, this thread if about cloaking only so please keep it on topic.

it has nothing to do with the affiliate links on page as only bots would see them when you cloak.
the point of cloaking is that only search engine bots will see the real page, while real users will be redirected to a different site (usually an affiliate lander).
