I then left using PayPal and people who would like to order from me, I would then present them another form of payment processors that I would accept other than PayPal. I get that few people may refuse to pay through other payment processors but I'd better prefer doing that rather than facing problems like yours.

I mainly offer my services on other online forums. People out there mostly use cryptocurrency to pay and that is my first choice among others. There are people who wouldn't feel comfortable paying in cryptocurrency thinking that it's mainly used for being anonymous. For people like them, I'd suggest you to present them another payment processor i.e TransferWise. They take little to no fees on transactions. Not sure if you had heard of Payoneer but TransferWise is somehow similar to it but its better than Payoneer in different aspects.

If cryptocurrency is somehow okay for your clients to pay, ask them to use websites like Paxful or LocalBitcoins. Also, make sure you let them know that there are many scammers on those websites and only deal with people who have a good reputation (thumbs up or similar stuff).

Also, the 'my way' of accepting cryptocurrency from my clients is to introduce them to a reputable exchanger with whom I had been exchanging for years now and had to build a decent amount of trust. I had been on the forum where I provide my service for more than 3 years and I myself have made a decent reputation making other people trust me regarding it.

Another way of receiving PayPal from people and avoid refund/chargeback problem, later on, is to make them send the money from the PayPal balance (not through a bank or any sort of card linked) and as Friends & Family. This method although is the safest method because if the amount is sent from PayPal balance and as F&F (not goods & services) then they wouldn't be able to chargeback you. But make sure they send it from balance because if they did transaction through a bank or card linked as F&F (Friends and Family), they would be able to get that money back through their bank stating that someone had made an unauthorized transaction.
