I want to create some landing pages for a new project. Should I go with a service like clickfunnels or should I build my landing pages and host them on wordpress?

ClickFunnels is way overpriced imo. WordPress is a better alternative in this case.

Go with wordpress and thrive themes don't fall into the shiny object trap CF is way overpriced and pushed hard by "gurus" due to the high amount of recurring money they make of it not because it is a sale generator for the end user.
