Looks like you have a poor quality product that doesn't really provide value to anyone.

If it provided value to people, people would buy it. :(

Whats the product? Post the link.

If you have 9K hops and only 180 order form impressions, it means your salespage needs dramatic improvement. You need a professional copywriter to assist you.

My brother was once a Clickbank platinum member, and he has shown me the ropes of Clickbank. I do promote Clickbank products every now and then as an affiliate.
To assist you further, you need to let me/us know what your product is. Better yet, let us know the link.

P.S: Assuming from your BHW user ID... is it in the personal development niche?

Yes. Go ahead. If you're still uncomfortable with the idea, PM us.

If not, just give us your Clickbank vendor ID. We will search it in the marketplace.

P.S: Oh wait, the ID was already posted - johnhappy. Okay, lemme have a look.

Okay, first thing's first: Your webpage loads terribly slow. And after waiting like several minutes, I get this wordpress error message:

    1.jpg

I re-loaded again, and after several minutes: ERROR 500 - INTERNAL SERVER ERROR.

I re-loaded again and I finally see your website's background image has loaded but again, I waited and waited till I gave up. Stop using budget hosting and get a better webhost. GoDaddy should be good enough.

Anyway, I used Google's cache method to have a glimpse. And the first thing I see is: YouTube Api Could not be loaded ! Then suddenly a few minutes later, the video has loaded. The video's design and voiceover talent is great. The salespage's design looks pretty decent.

But that's it. The VSL is only 2 minutes long. Most Clickbank's VSL's video is about 20 minutes long. If not, their WSL (written salesletter) can be up to 20,000 words long. You may wonder what's the point of salespages being that long. The reason is to build rapport and trust with the visitors. That is why most Clickbank's video can be repetitive... they get your attention first by giving some ridiculous claims or a shocking story, then they go about telling their grandpa story for nealy 5 minutes, then they finally 'found a solution' and they compiled it into this program where you can get for $37. Then they repeat the benefits of the program over and over and starts informing viewers what they could have miss out if they forego this opportunity. Then the good o' 60-day money back guarantee promise. Then again, promises and assurance that their product will work for them.

Your WSL is very short too. It is too much about your product but it never really tells readers how they will benefit from buying your program.

In short, you need a professional copywriter. If not, you can pick up copywriting courses and even books (like "Ca$hvertising" and "The Copywriter's Handbook"). You need a lot of salespage tweaking.

Also, you're using wordpress. If you ever browse most vendors' websites they are using HTML static pages. Why? Because static pages won't really overload the webhost server. Wordpress, on the other hand, keeps sending requests to the SQL database. Now imagine if an affiliate (or worst yet, an affiliate spammer) sends a huge volume of traffic... bam, server overload and no one gets to see your page at all. And that is also the reason why some vendors need to 'whitelist' affiliates because they don't want affiliates sending tens of thousands of worthless traffic that won't convert because that eats their server resources.

Ok, now onto Clickbank's system. Yes, you said you failed to make any sale for almonst 9 months at the start of the post. By now it should be more than a year. Clickbank has a rule that if your product fails to make a single sale within 30 days, it will be delisted from the marketplace. When it is delisted from the marketplace, affiliates can't find your product. You can counter it by buying your own product from another affiliate link. When you've done so, you will gain a gravity of 1, and also satisfy Clickbank's requirement and it should be re-listed to the marketplace within several days (I think, if not, you have to contact them).

Setting your commission at 75% is the norm. Unfortunately, it won't attract new affiliates. You need advertising. You can go with Clickbank's advertising to have your offer advertised in its marketplace. This is a great way to start gaining new affiliates. If you're lucky, superaffiliates will promote your product. Superaffiliates are crucial because most of them have huge email list and they will blast your offer to them. Unfortunately, again, 1 affiliate will only get you a gravity score of 1. And this score deteriorates over time at an exponential rate until he/she makes another sale (which resets it back to the baseline of 1). And if another affiliate promotes and makes a sale, it becomes a gravity of 2.

What does this tell you? It tells you you need lots of affiliates to successfully make a sale if you want it to be a top seller in Clickbank. But it is vital that your salespage converts, if not they will just give up promoting your product and move on. Upsells are crucial too. You can also hold affiliate competitions or bonuses like "Every 5 sale gets you a $50 bonus", or "Affiliate competition starting 1st September to 30th September. 1st prize is $1000, 2nd prize is $500, 3rd prize is $250", .etc.

Your product can be ultimate crap but if your salespage is awesome, it can still convert. Albeit refund rates may be high.
Likewise, your product can be very, very useful, but if your salespage is crap, it won't convert. And it will drop to oblivion in Clickbank's marketplace.

So the rule? An average or good quality book with a powerful salespage.

Not to be a wet blanket but if this is your first product don't expect it to be a top seller as of yet. Why? Because you're new. When you're new you have difficulities networking with affiliates. That is why it is important to have an opt-in form in your affiliate section so that you can inform your affiliates about your next product. Also, vendors love networking with other vendors. Every vendor out there have a huge list of customers' emails. If they like your offer, they will blast it to their list. Imagine the flow of cash! Most importantly, it is the customer's information you're looking for - their emails - which will be your first line of leads when you release the next new product in Clickbank. And usually if you want to partner with other vendors to promote your offer, you need to give them good incentives like the 90% commission tier. Then again, most successful Clickbank vendors are very, very picky on choosing who to network with, which makes sense as they have all the bargaining power. Once you've successfully networked with vendors and have a huge army of affilaites, your next product has a higher chance of success, and being one of Clickbank's popular sellers.

You can also consult @mancar487 . My brother messaged him before and found out (and also, as stated in his bio) he's a Clickbank's Platinum VENDOR. You can learn a lot from him. Just look at his products and how his product's salespages are done and compare it to yours. You will see the huge difference.

Also, I've discussed with my brother, several Clickbankers, and vendors. I came up with an experimental project where I can push any product's popularity up very quickly. I did notice some vendors are doing it as according to my 'theory'. Surprisingly, some whom are doing it are veteran vendors. I've also noticed one vendor whose product's popularity appeared out of nowhere in the marketplace with a gravity of nearly 230, only to decline at an exponential rate and now it's hovering below 100 and has losts its popularity from the front marketpalce page. That proves it works, though it may be short-term but it is sufficient enough to have quick sales, new list of affiliates, and to be hovering at the mid-page of Clickbank popular products. But since it's still experimental (and technically, blackhat), I'm not ready to disclose nor use it yet.

    Best of luck.

P.S: Most of the info above are taught and passed down to me by my brother. I just expand them from there.

Hey, no problem. Glad to be of help.

Actually I'm just an affiliate. My brother was an affiliate + vendor.

Another tip: if you still do wish to stick with wordpress, install caching plugins (e.g: W3 Total Cache. Or my personal favourite, WP Fastest Cache). It will save a LOT of kilobytes and makes loading page a breeze. You can also convert your dynamic php pages to static html pages, so it puts less load on your server. Other plugins I can recommend is StopBadBots to prevent useless bots from using up your web resources.

Good luck! Again, @mancar487 seems like an awesome fellow as I was told by my brother. And his contributions in BHW proves he's friendly and helpful. Not to mention he's a platinum member (to qualify you need to bring Clickbank $250K in gross sales if I'm not mistaken) so he's a very successful member here. Do message him for help! :)

    Best of luck!

    - Ms. Sophie

    Thanks for this.
Please, do you have some tips for new affiliates? I have just signed up and I'm finding it hard to find my way through.
If you can't share it here, please pm the tips.
    Thank you once again.
