Hi,

I've been using an anti-detect browser instead of a virtual machine to dropship from Ali -> eBay. Everything seems to be going fine.

However, I was thinking about one crucial part of the listing process.

As most of you know, it is necessary to clean all aliexpress photos before uploading them to eBay.

When doing this from a virtual machine, everything is okay because all the files have a unique Owner & Computer name (see photo:

).

However, when doing this with an anti-detect browser, the photos you clean will always show your main desktop information (see photo:
UPPNfEl
).

So, the main question would be whether eBay can see that particular section of metadata?
If you're uploading photos on multiple stealth accounts and they all show the same Owner & Computer name, surely that should cause some issues.

eBay certainly takes metadata into account.

It does this to define whether the image is safe to use and list.

That metadata can be accessed. Although just letting you know that most modern browsers now strip the metadata from the uploaded images for privacy and security.

I'd recommend:

Yes, that is all good and fine. There are many softwares that can clean the metadata. What do you think about my question, though? Even after cleaning the file, can eBay see the particular 'File' field, which shows the Owner & Computer name from where the photo was uploaded?

Yes, like I said those metadata fields/properties can be accessed.

Ebay never know that field. It's not image metadata.

If you click on "remove properties and personal info", i 've read over the web that metadata gone, and your photos are ok.
