I'm creating a niche adult site and have 2 options:

Chose a domain name that is a main keyword with info TLD (Keyword has 25000 monthly searches)

    or

Chose a memorable non keyword kom domain

    What would you advise?

    Thanks

In my personal opinion, I'd purchase the domain that has your main keyword in it and then register a more memorable/brandable domain name and use that as your primary site. Then, take the first domain that has your main keyword and add content and try to rank it for that keyword and then forward the traffic to your main site.

I would go with a memorable domain but try and find one that is relevant to your niche such as bestdiettown.com for example in the diet niche. The you can build brand anchor text to your website which will help you diversify your anchor text. It also depends on where you want your traffic to come from, but that is a good example for SEO purposes.

Go with memorable domain name, until or unless you rank the keywords it could help you much, but once you gained some momentum, then nothing can stop you from getting traffic. However, get the keyword domain and do a 301 redirect. i hope it will help. Or rank the KD in that specific keyword and direct the traffic to your primary domain.
