Actually, the number of people how do want to work as a web developer is more than the ones how's demanding web development services! :)
That's why Guru's courses, e-books, and guides industry is very profitable nowadays.
TBH i wish for that industry to grow and reach more people because from my point of view I think it's the perfect way for PUNISHMENT!

What is more worrying is these people will soon be able to vote, breed and so it continues.

There was a question on a UK tv game show last night and some moron who I have never heard of before was asked to name any fruit or veg that is green in colour.

There are researches that proved statistically that the IQ level in the world is in decrease, but the POP culture & its everyday nonsenses is something else, it tends to propagate the idea that a person's quality of life is measured by how famous he/she is, you're famous then you must be intelligent as well, you have a company using your Already famous name, your body, to promote your products and makes you millions of dollars : You should come make articles in the Entrepreneur, here you go come speak for us in the UN, what experiences, knowledge you do exactly have in theses fields ?? i have nothing against benefiting from this to raise awareness about societal issues, but theses assumptions the crowd makes about famous peoples has nothing but bad effects on society and collective intelligence which is necessary for us to evolve, that shift in authority is nothing good.
