Cheap WebHosting (with mysql remote access)

Hello,

I search a cheap web hosting that supports mysql remote access, hostkoala does not support mysql remote access.
AlexHost Support says it supports however it does not.
It should be Direct Admin or cPanel 10€/year.

PlanetScale is free to start. Also easy to scale up (uses vitess internally which is directly compatible with mysql). Try them out may be. ps it is a dbaas. There is no cpanel/dirdctadmin. You just get the db. Just plug the db in with a cheap web host, and you are ready to roll.

Oh btw, I am not associated with them.

There are so many cheap web hostings but they all deny Remote MySQL.

Thats sad.

I'm not sure about how cheap but You could talk to host I'm using @DamoHG - Hostgnome.com they are seller from marketplace here. They also offer free trail for limited time so you can be sure it work for you

Use a VPS from alexhost.com they are very affordable and offshore for adult content, remote acess from mysql is better to do in VPS.

You might find one, but it will be externally difficult. Allowing remote access to mysql requires opening ports and of course it is a security risk.

You might find better luck getting a vps and install directadmin on it (personal directadmin costs $2/month - will be discontinued soon so hurry up) and do it the way you like with open ports.
