Just to update here. I spent about 10 hours trying to get Seprbear working, it seems like any instructions to get github code working is for people who know what they are doing. It certainly is not step by step for the "man on the street", instructions assume a huge amount of knowledge.
Luckily a friend of mine knows more about this stuff and he got it working for me. I thought Serpbear was going to be "free", but there is no such thing a free lunch.
You will need to pay for proxies, which I have for Scrapebox but I couldn't get them to work on Serpbear. I then followed the suggestions on the Serpbear site for scrapingant but ti seems they dont like you using Serpbear so it didn't work. I then signed up for Scrapingrobot.
It didn't work yesterday, so then I tried refreshing it today and I crashed Serpbear on fly.io, they sent me an email about the crash and say that the solution might be buying more RAM for $5 a month. So it is not truly free.
I'm not a terribly technical person so I dont want to try and figure out how to restart Seprbear again.
So overall for me right now I might as well just buy another Serprobot bot for another $6 a month which will give me another 150 KW's. I have spent/wasted so much time on trying to find a "free" solution that it is probably the best option.
Again if anyone has a truly free or very very low cost way of tracking 100's or even a couple of thousand KW's accurately then let me know. Note I dont have ahrefs, semrush etc.
