You are lucky.the mail you got means you are in the first group who have under 20k stucked. You will be paid in full.all others with over 20k are offered 70% only.they plan to pay out over third party company and noone knows what is happening with frozen money in bank.they have to by law to open the bank in july...but there are also rumors that they will be closed down before that.

The whole Situation is very confusing, especially with all the rumors that get spread around the various Forums. I'd suggest you Keep contacting them. This 70% deal is just a fucking ripoff, honestly. And even if the VP told me that they will pay me out in the next 2 weeks. I highly doubt it, LOL.

Thank you for your clear responses in this thread! I'm have a phone call planned with the VP later today. Can you confirm what the other guys says, that you have under 20k frozen so you will get the full amount back? I'm intressted to see what he will offer me, the full payout or the 70%. I have over 20K so if what i'm reading here is correct he should offer me 70%. How are you planning to recieve your wire transfer? I was thinking to make them send it to my epayments account. No way that money is going on my regular bank account lol.

Be very careful with that stuff you hear from AmberCutie and GFY, every situation is very different and people based on how much many they have in their FCP account will be handled differently. I have heard that thing with the 70%, but i have also heard that this only applies when you can't wait and want the money immedietly, then they will send you the 70%. Pretty shady stuff, so i can't and don't want to confirm this.
My money goes into the bank account. Why are you not sending it to your bank account?

I received an email asking for my passport scan and wire transfer info, seems like they are going to send back our funds.

Just got of the phone with VP, it's correct that the 70% is when you want the money right now, payed out by insurance. And it's 70% because an insurance bureau will carry the risk of choiceBank not paying them back. He confirmed with me that they are busy liquidating assets and will be able to pay out the full amount somewhere in July. He also told me about he lawsuit mentioned earlier in this thread, and said everything was under control and no lawsuit will be filled.

For months, we’ve been reporting on the problems at Choice Bank - an offshore bank in Belize City. In early April, the Bank told customers that it’s in a liquidity crisis, and it suspended all withdrawals from deposit accounts with the Bank. This has caused profound concern amongst the bank’s deposit holders - who are mostly foreign or expatriate.
But, one of those international clients is not just concerned, she’s panicked! Anja Schoneveld has filed a sworn affidavit alleging that Choice Bank pans to wind down operations by the end of this month. Schoneveld is asking the court for an injunction to, quote, “prevent the dissipation of funds…”.
The injunction claims that Choice has brought in a company to quote, “wind down the bank.” The affidavit quotes a phone call she had with this third party company where their representative, says, quote, “our job is to try to settle or…try to sell the assets as quickly as possible…” End quote.
This will sound alarm bells for Choice’s depositors who could stand to lose substantial sums - if the allegation is accurate. We could not reach Choice Bank for comment - and the Central Bank’s Deputy Governor declined comment. We’ll keep following the story and trying to get comment.

Consequently, on 8 May 2018 the Central Bank implemented and continues to execute various preventative measures and corrective actions pursuant to the International Banking Act. The principal aim of these measures and actions is to ensure that Choice Bank Limited wholly satisfies its obligations to depositors and customers." End quote.
And trying not to create wider concern in the banking sector, the release adds, quote "this situation is specific to Choice Bank Limited and does not affect the safety and soundness of any other bank (domestic or international) or the financial sector in Belize." End quote.

I have filled out the form so they can send the wire to me. They told me that once i sent them the form with my passport/national ID they will get back to me. They haven't gotten back to me since 6 days..

Payments starting this coming week onwards as I was told when I asked about the deadline I have to submit my IDs. If they have no intention to pay, why are they going through the hassle of contacting everyone to submit wire transfer info?

They haven't contacted everyone. People with over 20k and over 50k are still waiting for answers and i haven't heard from them either. I was filling this form out and i have not heard from them since. Many people on other forums are going through the same hassle. I also haven't recieved a wire transaction form showing that they actually have done that. Before i haven't heard from them, i consider my money to be gone..
@mointernet I assume that you haven't recieved your payment yet either?

Hi guys, I've just received an email from epayments. it says " we had to temporarily suspend both incoming and outgoing bank transfer in USD", what does that mean?

Yea, i read that too. I think at the moment it's not possible, although if you have an external credit card, you can still load that, it's not affected, it only applies for bank transfers.
They also said, that it's started to work again for some of their account holders, so i guess you can try.
