I am just starting out using proxies for posting to classified sites and am wondering if my accounts will get banned/ ghosted if I don't use a virtual machine or have a allocated MAC address for each IP?

Any help is appreciated!

As long ad the accounts have been made via resedental ip address ,your be fine .... the proxies your using for the account must be in the same country.

MAC is not given to any website, it is only known locally in your LAN for other purposes. Websites can identify you by IP address, User Agent, referrals and footprinting

not true.....i`m 100% percent sure fb and g can see mac addresses and use it in their antispam algos....there are few case studies here on bhw about this subject. Mac address is so easily leaked that it would be a no brainer for them not to use it in their algo. I will take it a step further....I believe fb started to use first network node info aka ur router in their antispam algo. u can change ur ip u can spoof ur mac but u can`t do shit to ur router.

I'm pretty sure it's not possible to get client MAC address using Javascript because it runs on sandbox for security reasons, and you wouldn't get any real hardware information from it. The only way it could be possible is by using a Java applet but that would require the user permission and it is not the case of Google or Facebook.

Ahhhh, perfect. Many thanks for the help.

Also, you wouldn't happen to know of any programs that are easy for managing and switching between proxies?

i disagree ... i think its a hack if your mac is leaked :)

in networking perspective .... MAC address is just sent to your closet router and router change it and so on .

thats why on all the firewalls in the world , there is no option to block mac address as security rule .
:)

I've never heard of a leaked Mac Address. Its important to sign up accounts using residential proxies and changing lots of user agents and footprints.

VPN would do something about that :)

No its not necessary to change the mac. Just use residential ips and different user-agent and disable webrtc on your browser. As webrtc leaks your private/local ip.

Changing IP addresses using proxies will be enough, websites doesn't check your MAC address while posting.
