Changing Language On Auctioned Domain

Hey,

What do you think about changing the language on a domain bought on Goddady Actions? Or... Just changing the language of of a re-registered domain in general.

Initial language is English.

If the domain previously had English content, then it's likely that most of the backlinks it has are English as well. By changing the content language after you're kinda starting to lose the point of buying such a domain at all.

You should recover the old pages of domain to get back domain authority. If it will work, you will need to find a way how to change a language.

I see what you mean. I had the idea to turn them to money sites... Not sure yet about that.

I usually recover a couple of old pages/urls and redirect to home and cornerstone posts, not caring about the language, but I have some second thoughts, so that's the reason for this post.
