From an expired domain into a different language, what to do?

How should I restore the site?

I have an expired domain with pretty good backlinks and need to build a money site in a different language (same niche) on it.
Question is, how should one do it and "keep" the most juice and to look natural?
I'll restore the old posts which the backlinks point to, but there are a few ways to do it.
The domain was dropped a few months ago.

Your old posts are in different language, you can't restore those, it would look weird.

What you can do is that you translate the articles that were there previously into a new language.

Then you either retain the site structure or set up a pletora of 301 redirects, basically page by page.

If you are lazy and don't want to do the entire site this way, recreate at least the pages with backlinks. Check both Ahrefs and Majestic.

That's how I would go around it, imo, the most effective way.
