Changing IP! Cable or Wireless?

Hi
I have cable modem and there is no way to change my ip, tryed many ways!

So i am thiking if i buy routher and wirless network card for my pc.

The qusestion is: Can it be easy to change ip if i have wireless network?


Iam on Youtube blacklist and my videos are getting deleted, thats main reason. I tryed Hide my ass and anonymouse, but there is always problems...

Your IP address is assigned by your Internet Service Provider.

If it's a static IP, you're screwed and will need to use proxies. If it's a dynamic IP then you should be able to turn your router off and back on and stand a high chance of picking up a different IP address.

Replacing hardware will have no effect.

if you are using cable connection of comcast or virgin its hard to change ip .. not that its impossible. There are not static ips.
You wil have to physicaly log on to the router connected to the cable modem and change the mac address of the router and then restart the router and cable modem together. ip will change. if not try again the same way and it should change.

You would have an easier time investing in a set of shared/private proxies for your YouTube work. If you are set on having an ISP that can change IPs, you should go with a DSL line. Cable companies will change your home IP on rare occasion and every few months randomly.
