Hi.

I have been experimenting quite a few techniques on Youtube about ranking Keywords and High Ranked Keywords etc. My channel is pretty old, but I am getting my channel alive nowadays by uploading regular contents.

Here is my question, - I have figured it out how to get the Ranked Keywords and High Ranked Keywords - For an instance, in VidIQ - I am showing an SEO Score of 70.9/100 out of which Ranked keywords are 4/5 and High ranked keywords are 1/5 -

However many videos are saying that if these condition some how full filled even a bit, Views should appear and YT will promote in its search and recommendations. But under the good condition of SEO Score, i dont even pass 7 views :D - Amazing and Kudos to those misguide people alot :D

Any one could answer my question why ?

Tools like VidIQ, Tubebuddy offer some useful features which I agree with, although their keyword research and video SEO are just a gimmick. It doesn't work that way on YouTube.

No, I dont use their recommended Key words. I analyze the keywords manually by my self and place it, I only see the stats from ViIQ/Tube Buddy :) - There is something beyond out all of these keyword Junk Jargons.

Further to the above, No one will ever tell the reality of ranking the video's. People who know will only state " Do good Thubnails, HR views , Quality videos , constant update" These will NEVER WORK, and you won't believe if I say one of my testing Just Hit the Youtube Recommendatation and give me 92% recommendation. I am getting the grip, but I still have alot of question in head, where NO ONE WILL ANSWER :)

You may be thinking I am lying here :D - adding the proof, which put the impression UP! That is where now a good thumbnail would work. A high quality good thumnail will never work if its not ranking. BITTER TRUTH!

The foll. from https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/wanna-know-yt-secrets-ask-me-i-have-almost-all-the-tricks-decoded.1337291/page-5#post-14464105 is related to your query about ranking of YouTube videos. What I've mentioned there has always been useful to me to rank my YouTube videos. Hope it helps you too.

Unlike Google, which uses backlinks and other factors to evaluate rank, YouTube SEO involves optimizing your channel, playlists, metadata, descriptions, and videos. You can optimize your videos for search both within and outside of YouTube. Since search engine bots cannot watch videos, they rely on accompanying text data to index them properly. A key component to a YouTube SEO strategy is harnessing the power of your video’s text in the form of transcripts, closed captions, and subtitles, which can positively impact user experience, engagement, watch time, viewership, and SEO.
Here is a tip : I performed a test that proves captions on YouTube videos boost SEO. I saw an increase in views by 18% in the first 2 weeks using captions. To test this, I searched for a keyword phrase that was present only in my video captions, not in the title, description, tags, or metadata. Captioned videos ranked highly for the phrase because search engines can crawl the caption text.
