[Case Study] Very competitive keyword. UK kw > 2000 $ p/d. From scratch.

As is going to be shortly released I've decided to start new project, to show you how to use it.



As we all know SEO is great way to make a lot of money, but to do it you need to be persistent.
One of the easiest way to achieve success in SEO is to use high quality backlinks
Best way to do it, is to create own sites (here for now only blogs). To do it you may do it by hand.

I've decided to use to create high quality tier 1 sites.


I will use old domain, grabbed on auction with old domains. Domains is over 12 years old, at this moment without backlinks (only few old backlinks shows on MajesticSEO & Ahrefs).

I've decided not go with EMD (exact match domain) to be make sure that my website won't be caught by any future penalty.
As I'm living in UK and I'm affiliate with UK company I've decided to go after UK very competitive keywords but very high earners at the same time (over 2000$ per day), it isn't payday niche (I were playing with it back in 2010-2012 with huge success in UK market), it is unregulated (only casual regulations like ASA).
I won't be using any AdWords or obvious affiliate techniques as Google don't like it.
My money site has custom template with ecommerce script installed. Site is hosted on random host provider with unique IP.
I've decided with slow tier 1 building (so I won't build 100 sites in 1 day, rather I will build randomly 20-30 sites weekly (randomly 2-5 avg. per day)).

I will post 2-5 articles on every site before I start posting articles with backlinks.
I won't be backlinking between Tier1 (and same goes for Tier2/Tier3, each site from tier 1 will have own tier2/3).
My main goal for next 2 months is to get my tier 1 sites ranked on main keywords (not top30 but rather top50-top100 for tier1).

Why ? Because if you will have 80 high quality sites ranked on keywords you're interested with, you can be sure that with time your money site will achieve much higher rankings than your Tier 1 sites.

This method can give you high and safe rankings for MONTHS (when I used this technique I had dominated my main keyword for over a year in TOP1 (after a year without backlinking site dropped to TOP2), this is my personal record for medium-high competitive keyword).

So you will spend about 1000$ at minimum only for tier 1? as 80 domains to buy..
not mentioning if you want to push all your tier 1 articles to top 30-50, you would need more quality backlinks in order to achieve that, atleast 5 very good backlinks, so atleast 50$ per each tier 1. that sums up to 4000$ (80x50tier 2) + 1000+$ (tier 1). 5000$ in the best of chances, 10.000$ in the worst.
Have you got such a budget? I hope so, if your niche is so competitive as you say to earn 2k$ per day.

Be ready to invest large amount of money, to rank it and if keyword is as you said 2k per day then it's around 60k per month. Btw are you promoting CPA offer? and around how much searches KW have per month?

A method as described alone should be mixed together with other forms of online marketing or else you will eventually get caught.

This type of promotion is not allowed anyways, specially since you could alter the results just to get more sales.

If you can generate $2k a day you would obviously not need to release a BST here @ BHW as it won't get you nowhere near $2k/day and it will simply dilute the efficiency of your method.

PBNC software supports public/private platforms/domains, so I won't be using 80 paid domains. It will be mix.

SEO some time ago was my main business, I made enough live from it for years (that's why I went into software development :>, months/years of writing without salary for it).

To be clear, you won't make 2k $ using AdWords on this niche ! I always try to maximize profits, cut middle mans, cut costs. AdWords is huge waste of money for my projects (everything depends from project).

No CPA. Normal services/products to normal people. That's easiest way to keep as much money as you can. Everything looks like I would provide service.

I was doing more than 2k a day, this case study is to present PBNC. I won't be selling BST for my method but for software which is just more complex "thank you" for knowledge I got in here as without SEO I wouldn't ever be where I am now.


So please not make this topic all about money, but enjoy and use if you like.

I agree with diversification of backlinks ! But from my previous test I can clearly see that it is working.

Nice strategy, and a promising one too. What I like most about your approach is the focus on quality backlinks for tier 1 and the slow link building pace. Seeing as you are pursuing a high competition keyword, you shouldn't expect much traffic or sales within the first month or maybe longer since there is now a much longer ranking delay.

But hopefully, your tier 1 blogs should be able to gain some good rankings and funnel some traffic to your main site while you continue working to get the rankings you need.

Well from experience it takes at least over a 6-7 weeks to see some good kick in rankings for main domain, so I don't expect any money from it until 10-11 week.


But as I'm not doing it for money (SEO isn't my main business any more) I accept timescale of this project, mainly I'm doing it to see if I can do it again after pressure and to say thank you to the whole BHW community (PBNC is also way of showing my gratitude for years of learning from all of you).

Blogs start achieving some positions for long tail keywords (mainly closely to article titles)


Money site still without any incoming backlinks as at this moment I'm posting articles WITHOUT backlinks. This is just to make sure that Google won't catch it up as a network.

My linking strategy is simple, each blog should have any where from 4-10 articles without links.

Really interested to see how this case study pans out. Are you using any type of automated link building like GSA SER, SENuke, etc. to promote your tiers?

Tier 2 is quality mix of PBNC (due to very high indexing rate & theme links & high quality, only free platforms !) & SeNuke (for diversification, only high PR platforms (without Wiki/Forums/etc. low quality links)). Tier 3 GSA/Xrumer/Scrapebox.

Makes perfect sense to me. I'm going after a few 2000-3000 searches/month KW in the later part of August with basically the same mentality. Not using SENuke though, but I might pick up ZSubmitter for 2.0s.

Following this, have heard of this and would like to see how it works out.
