Past expired domain traffic

Maybe that is why new domain get similar traffic.

Because you rebuilt the content it looks like Google figured the site has moved to a new domain and is transferring the former trust and link equity.

How many pages did you rebuild, only the homepage or more?
Did you create a wayback restore with the old theme and HTML code or did you only rebuild the content on a new wordpress install?

english site? so fast

Yes an english site

What does your web analytics say? How many daily visitors are you getting?

5,4k daily visitors.

I have told you there is no past data traffic for my expired domain on SEMRush that close to the number you are mentioned. The domain has no high traffic since it's created a year ago. There is no traffic similarity in this case.

Besides whose domain is that anyway?

congratz on randomly hitting a goldmine, interested to see how far you take it and the direction you go with it.

Good Karma really did hit you didn't it !

Thanks. I'll post an update if I can.

How much you paid for the expired domain?

Eighty bucks.

You're asking me or him? Because that is not my expired domain.

Now lets take a look at screenshots, hmmmm does this look familiar to you haha. Same everything.

Expired domain has past traffic.
Why are you trying to lie? I dont understand this, it is still good case study but why deny about expired domain past traffic.

It's against forum rules to out another members website.

You should delete your post or there is a risk of being banned.

It wasn't hard to find your sites. But yes the expired domain does have past traffic as seen in this screenshot.

Next time you want to do this and find someone's site, instead of posting it publically, at least use common sense to speak in private beforehand to ensure it is/is not the members' site.

Good stuff. Moving to another domain rather than just having plain old 301 is smart.

I did the same too other than the fact that I built the content directly onto the expired domain.

I think your method sounds way better.

I actually do this before the 301 if the expired domain is not in the index. It looks natural to inform the users that you are moving to new domain for a month or two, then go for 301. If the link didnt tank the website, then the 301 wont do it too so.. :)
