[Case Study] Ranking a CPA website with only $100

No im not because my site with OGAds isn't ranking yet. It's on page 2 right now.

Once I start getting some traffic, I'll let you know how well it works. I just created that site last week because I had bought a keyword and I wanted to put it to use.

Other people seem to be getting good results with OGAds so I thought I'd give it a shot.

I'm pretty new to CPA and I only started this site a couple of months ago so I'm still testing and learning what works and what doesn't.
Ok Goodluck to your new earnings

@OP, did you face any google dancing after getting your PBN posts? My main keyword initially got placed at 5-6th page before adding any backlins. After getting my PBN report it got to 2nd page and now a few days later its at page 12-13.

What serp position does the site have atm ?
And how much total spend on this till now ?

Yes I did but not as much as you did.

My keyword was on page 3-4 before the PBN links. I got the report a few days ago and my keywords are now bouncing around on page 2 between 12 and 19.

I'll be able to see the final effect of the links by the end of the month.

Woo Hoo. My main keyword is on page 1 . http://prntscr.com/eyk649

I started this case study in the last week of Feb. So far, I've spent only $75. All inclusive. Except for the website layout, everything was outsourced.

Special thanks to @hacko who recommended using the homepage instead of ranking an inner page. I think that's one of the major reasons why I ranked so quickly and cheaply. This is one of the best tips I've ever received.

I haven't made any money on this site so far (and maybe never will) but that wasn't the point of this case study. It's still possible to rank quickly and cheaply if you read up and follow a process. Some things I've learned:

  • I kept changing around the keyword densities to see what works and I was surprised to see that adding or removing a keyword even a couple of times has a big and instantaneous effect of rankings ( I was forcing Google to crawl after each change). I don't think it's a coincidence, but I saw 5-10 position movements just because I added the keyword twice in the content. This may be because my keyword was really easy but I could actually see the effect of on page after each change.
  • Like I said earlier, ranking the homepage is the best decision I made. I don't think I would have had similar results if I had tried to rank an inner page.
  • Starting off with an expired domain (Thanks @Nargil) with lots of links really brings down diversity costs. Even a cheap diversity pack with mostly spun content is about 100 bucks. I got all the diversity I need (and then some) for 10 bucks.
  • You don't need multiple articles to rank. In addition to the privacy policy, TOS, contact us (all auto generated) and homepage, I don't have any other pages on my website. All my content is on the homepage. All my links point to the homepage. (404 to 301)
  • Not that I had any doubts, but PBN sites are the cheapest and easiest way to rank sites. I've only bought 10 links and even though the work was completed just last week, I'm already on page 1. I expect my rankings to improve even more. (Thanks @nikchaing)
  • Obviously, keyword research is the most important part. I would never be able to rank for a keyword with any sort of competition for 75 bucks. I bought a keyword from @ZlatanTheGod and I highly recommend his service. He has super easy keywords.
Shortly, I'm going to start an Amazon Affiliate Site Case Study. I feel that it'll be more expensive to rank an Amazon Affiliate site because they keywords are likely to be slightly harder and the quality of content will have to be a little better than the content required for a CPA site. If I outsource everything and don't use any of my existing PBN sites, I feel that I should be able to rank the website within $200. All inclusive.

Wish me luck!

Thanks for sharing this! Lot's of new things to learn here. Keep us updated about your next Amazon case study. Goodluck with it.

Yes I'll share it here. Just like this one.

When I gave instructions to the writer, I requested for a keyword density of 0.5%. However, once I was on page 2, I kept playing around with it. I was at 11, I added my main keyword once, made it bold and forced a recrawl. In 5 mins, I was at 10. If this was an isolated incident, I would have assumed it was a coincidence. But I tried this several times and it jumped around each time I recrawled.

0.5 seems to be a good starting point but you can play around with it. The results seem to be almost instantaneous so it's easy to test different things.

How do you check the % of keyword used?

What are your on page seo checklists ?

I don't have a checklist as such. I just ask the writer to include my keywords with 0.5% and then I take it from there. Of course, I make sure that Yoast is green and I have optimized images and stuff like that.

How do you check the % of keyword used?

I find Yoast to be weird and inaccurate at times. Once everything is green, I use http://tools.seobook.com/general/keyword-density/ to check for the density and then move things around till my ranking starts to fall. It takes some time but it's worth it even if your position improves by a couple of places.

i will cry if OP will rank the website for 100 dollars and then get his filthy CPA site upfront banned
