I thought it would give me enough motivation to run this campaign if I document my journey step by step since I lost my motivation in between due to a couple of reasons..This campaign can end up in a profit or loss but will still try to run it. It is basically a pay per call campaign and I would be running it in the following networks one by one.

1. Google Display Network
2. Google Pay per Call
3. Sitescout
4. Trafficvance

I get paid around 12 usd for each call which lasts more than 2 minutes.. The best option would always to sell your own product but felt it might take some time..

Website:

I have already setup up a website using a static site generator called Jekyll.. I was using wordpress initially but loading time was huge.. and when you run ads on networks like trafficvance your site should be blazing fast and felt jekyll would be a good option. I have hosted this website on github and the hosting is free of cost.

Tracker:

I use CPVlab for tracking and have setup the tracker on a vps running Linux/centos.

I would update the results every now and then. Hope this would help a few..

I always had this fear of losing money.. So I thought why not go through the fear and experience what is it like and try to overcome the same..

I will also make sure that I don't sit in front of the computer more than 40 minutes everyday..

Lets see how much can I make.

So as of now this is the status. This is a pay per call campaign. Found out a couple of keywords which is converting.

I think it would be better if I can pre-qualify my prospects rather than directly asking them to call. I will try to change the sales funnel in the next few days and see how things are working.

The campaign is not a loss but does not provide huge profit also. The profit margin is very less. I was reading an article the other day which says 67% Of sales are lost if you dont 'pre' qualify leads. I will also conclude trying to drag an unqualified lead through the sales process is a waste of time and money.campaign.png

So I've created a sales funnel like this advertorial->squeeze page->auto responders.

For capturing the leads I am using a software called Interspire which I set up on a VPS.

Will test the above sales funnel and update the status in the next few days.

I would be testing GDN. I would try running text ads narrowed by keywords. I have scraped a huge list of keywords from Google Keyword tool, spyfu and scrapebox.

Interested case study, I tried something similar (but only using Google Pay per Call) with Ring Partner about a year ago. How many different campaigns are you testing out?

just one. I had this habit of hopping from one campaign to another. So this time I decided I will stick with one.

Ah, thought you were doing a few based on the screenshot. Sticking with one and really putting effort into figuring it out is the way to go. You can often negotiate slightly better payouts with Ring Partner once you've established a baseline for good quality, so you might want to consider driving more of volume at a slight profit and improving your margins simply by making more per call.
