If you use the 'parasites' as tier 1, I would suggest you use different topics on them.
If you are using parasites to rank them and make money from them, you can use the same keyword. Check the other threads on parasites for more info.

Do you think it would have worked as well if you used Mix - Best Rew Rem? @mindmaster

I would often put it as high as 6, but I would only take about 3-5 sentences from each page I was taking content from. Would that also work?

It could work. I didn't tried.

The higher number you use on that settings, it will leave most of the text unspin, so it keeps its meaning.

If you really want to go the extra mile, write the content yourself.
Re-write each sentence a few times, and use clever spinner with higher settings to spin words.
But, this will take time.
