    Well, I recently got a raise at my real job.
    I will also be incredibly busy for the next two months.
    AND, Greg (BassTrackerBoats) put up some new coupons for his linkpushing service.

    So, I'm taking this opportunity to try out the Premium (12 pushes) subscription for a few months. My site is about 2 months old. It presently has about 180 backlinks from a combination of whois type sources, social bookmarks, and manual article submission/web2.0 creation. I got about 25 tier1 buffer sites and about 20 tier2 sites before I simply got too busy with the day job.

    It is pretty filled out for a MNS. I have about 25 pages of actual content and 50 pages indexed by the big G due to tag pages, etc.

    I have an EMD for a pretty low traffic long tail version of the main keyword I'm targeting. In total I will be tracking 6 keywords in this case study. Here's a MS screenshot for the 6 keywords:
    [IMG]

    Please note, I think MS is on crack with the CPC. Last time I checked them they were all around $5 or lower. Certainly none in the double digits.

    Present rankings are:
    KW1: 54
    KW2: 90
    KW3: 32
    KW4: 54
    KW5: 42
    KW6: 5 (this is the EMD)

    Total earnings from the site so far: about $9 from 4-5 clicks. Paid for the domain name :cool:

    KW1 competition (this is the main "base" keyword):

    KW2 competition:

    KW3 competition:

    KW4 competition:

    KW5 competition:

    KW6 competition (this is the EMD):

    If I've left out any info that is important for you guys to make a good case study, let me know. I plan to talk to Greg first to make sure I have a good plan on how to use the first 12.

    You have a lot of graphs using some service it looks like. to me. I am not sure what that service is or what they do.

    I would hope that you do what I suggest as to SEO as opposed to just using linkpushing as that is the best way to rank a site.

    Those are all screenshots from Market Samurai just so people can judge for themselves how hard the keywords actually are. I see a lot of times people say they used a service and saw such and such increase in rankings, but a lot of times they leave out how competitive the niche was. I wanted to be sure to include that data for people that wanted to see it.

    I am definitely all ears in terms of your suggestions. I've read through the best practices ebook already but need to read more of the stuff on your site.

    Def. would recommend the Link Pushes!

    Used them a while back for my micro niche sites and all the pages I targeted are ranking (was deep linking) I have like 10 + pages on first page, a few in 1st position and the rest ranking between page 1 to 5.

    All the best with your site, make sure its on page optimized. Also I did not really do anything other than the Link pushes and a Trackback Blast using Scrapebox.

    I don't use MS but I know others that do.

    I have no idea how they generate their info but I guess they are good in what they offer but I have no first hand opinion.

    As to suggestions I can't offer any since I am not a MS guy (that is just me, I am sure it is a solid service/product) but as I stated earlier "I would hope that you do what I suggest as to SEO as opposed to just using linkpushing as that is the best way to rank a site."

    I am definitely interested in doing what you suggest as to SEO, just trying to find out what that is. If there's threads in particular you recommend or certain pages/videos on your site, I'll be more than happy to read.

    So far I've tried to tighten up the on-page SEO as best I know how (which could be not very well at all, I'm relatively new to this). I've also kept a diverse link profile coming in to the site with links from various sources, various anchor texts, and targeting both the main page and deep linking.

    Hey everyone, I just want to make it clear because I realized it may not come across right...

    I have no affiliation with BassTrackerBoats. I'm just trying his service because I've read a lot of good reviews here. And I wanted to do a case study about it because people here seem to love that type of stuff.

    Today:

    -Reviewed and tightened up on-page SEO as best I could
    -Setup first linkpush at lunch time using the automatic article scrape/spin, directly to money site.

    I plan to do some of the 12 linkpushes direct to the money site and the rest to the buffer sites I've already built up. Also, I'm not sure I'll be using the auto scrape/spin that much after this one. Not sure if it's just my niche or if TBS just isn't that great any more, but the readability is quite low and if I looked at the spin results, some things it tried to spin and must not have had any thing to put in...there were a number of cases where it was just {word} instead of {word1|word2}.

    It looks like 5 web 2.0s and 3 article directories have been posted so far. I thought the web 2.0s would be on public sites like wordpress, tumblr, etc, but that does not seem to be the case for most part. Most so far seem to be on private sites that just happen to be running wp. I'm not saying it's a problem, just saying I had something else in my head at first.

    Rankings:
    KW1: 54 -> 50
    KW2: 90 -> 89
    KW3: 32 -> 43
    KW4: 54 -> 38
    KW5: 42 -> 41
    KW6: 5 -> 5

    Visitors to site today (other than me): 2
    Earnings: $0

    As a disclaimer, I would like to say that the OP sent me his KWs and site and I told him I would not be a party to his "case study" and did not offer any suggestions as to SEO as I think it would be improper to do that.

    That being said, anyone that attempts to rank a site using just my service is not taking advantage of the whole of site SEO picture and is not serving their sites properly.

    A proper backlinking strategy includes a huge variety of backlinks and not what my partner and I offer.

    Do not use this case study as how to rank your sites as it is very limited in it's scope.

    Thanks BassTrackerBoats for clearing that up for everyone.

    For others reading, I stated in the original post but maybe it was lost in all the other information...the site has a variety of backlinks right now that have all been created manually/semi-manually. This includes:
    -high quality, manually created, web 2.0 sites (100% unique content)
    -whois type sites
    -quality, relevant blog comments across edu/gov/com domains
    -quality, relevant forum profiles from related niche sites
    -directory submissions
    -social bookmarks

    I have also done on-page SEO to the best of my ability and made sure my intra-site links and structure are good and make sense.

    My original plan for this site had been to do everything manually, bootstrapping my way up and not paying for any tools or services until it was paid for by money the site was making. However, the day job is preventing that from happening. Rather than neglect the site, I took the opportunity to dip my foot into the paid service waters.

    So, while the majority of my links in the coming months will indeed be from this service, I think it's a bit of a fallacy to say that I'm trying to rank the site ONLY using this service.

    That being said, regardless of what happens I'll be updating this thread with what I'm doing and what the results are.

    If my approach works, you'll find out. If it doesn't, you'll still find out and you'll know not to follow in my foot steps.

    Not really sure if a case study is necessary for LinkPushing. It has been around for a long time, and all you have to do is read the service thread to see that it works. But, I'm always ready to be entertained. :)

    Last night I submitted my own article that I had spun well. In the resource box I used a spun construct targeting a number of my existing tier1 articles and a variety of keywords. This was based on a concept I read on the linkpushing website.

    Tonight:
    Rankings:
    Rankings:
    KW1: 54 -> 50 -> 48
    KW2: 90 -> 89 -> 78
    KW3: 32 -> 43 -> 42
    KW4: 54 -> 38 -> 38
    KW5: 42 -> 41 -> 21
    KW6: 5 -> 5 -> 2

    Looking quite nice so far considering it's only been two days and I still have 10 pushes this month to play with.
