You don't mess around mate indeed!
one question are their any redirects involved I've sent you a PM
I just can't understand this. there are 3 ways to get links from pbn.
1.footer /sidebar links. (will make your link per domain ratio high)
2.Links from posts. (it will give you only 1 link per domain)
3.****** (not want to discuss about it on public forum , but i can bet that you are not using it.)
You said that 90% of your links are from pbns and that means about 9K links will be from pbn and 90% of ref domains is about 90 domains. That means you are getting 100 links from every pbn site. And currently only possible way to get 100 links per domain is to spam ever pbn site with 100 posts or to add sidebar/footer link.
Other thing can be that you have got 100 links from pbn and rest of 9900 are from a single site (eg all pages on your site link to your homepage or any other site having your link in sidebar). But, that's impossible because you said that 90% of links are from pbn.
That clearly means you are using footer/sidebar links from pbn.
I have domain with more then 10k links per ref domain and those links are footer/sidebar links and that site is improving day by day.
Waiting for your answer.

What kind of websites you are using to get those backlinks? Do you participate in any Article, Blog Submission?
I am more interested in your bounce rate than link building. How did you do that? Can you please share more info on how to decrease the bounce rate?
Will be watching this closely
Great thread, thanks for sharing! Why do you avoid using dropped domains with good PR and DA/PA?
Hi ishan,
am really glad you did this, at least it proves my instincts weren't wrong about the other thread.
i have a few questions though,
1)do you post a main article on your homepage and then link to other articles on the site? or do you just have post excerpts on the homepage?
2)If the answer to question one above is homepage article, in the article on the homepage, do you write it in such a way that all the keywords targeted for the whole website is incorporated into the article?
3) if the answer to question two is yes, that means i will need to adjust the article on the homepage of my new site that just got indexed a couple of days back and i would sincerely like to know if putting up an entire new article for the homepage will affect some of my keywords that are already ranking in the top 300... Or better still, what would be your general advice on this?
Thanks for the case study though.. and i hope i didn't sound like an FBI agent with those questions..![]()
Yes, I have a redirect from a PR 5 site, That is what I was refering to when I said if anyone can figure out in the backlinks snapshot what that there is a hidden trick, The thousands of backlinks are actually coming from that re-direct.
It is a 12 year old domain, I acquired 3 months back, had a Domain Authority of 35.
