Case Study - 1 - Ranking site from ClickBank Niche

I am more interested in your bounce rate than link building. How did you do that? Can you please share more info on how to decrease the bounce rate?

Will be watching this closely

Great thread, thanks for sharing! Why do you avoid using dropped domains with good PR and DA/PA?

Thank you for going into so much detail with this thread! Love to see so much dedication and time going into such shares!

Well done mate!

Hi ishan,
am really glad you did this, at least it proves my instincts weren't wrong about the other thread.

i have a few questions though,
1)do you post a main article on your homepage and then link to other articles on the site? or do you just have post excerpts on the homepage?

2)If the answer to question one above is homepage article, in the article on the homepage, do you write it in such a way that all the keywords targeted for the whole website is incorporated into the article?

3) if the answer to question two is yes, that means i will need to adjust the article on the homepage of my new site that just got indexed a couple of days back and i would sincerely like to know if putting up an entire new article for the homepage will affect some of my keywords that are already ranking in the top 300... Or better still, what would be your general advice on this?

Thanks for the case study though.. and i hope i didn't sound like an FBI agent with those questions..:)

Nice journey, I am on my way to build PBN for my money site.
May I know where or how you get your domain for PBN?
THanks

Very nice. Well detailed and presented if anyone tries to re create this and fails they should stop trying. You made it so simple to follow (:

Hey mate, any chance you could PM your Skype addy? Would like to have a chat and run some questions by you. Cheers!

Thanks for your post. The information is very good. I have a few questions I hope you will answer.

1) How do you drip feed your links? Are you doing it by hand or 3rd party service?
2) When you use SEnuke and GSA are you using lists you scraped yourself or do you use lists you've purchased?
3) What PR, DA, etc. do you consider for your first tier? And do you blast your PBN sites or just your web 2.0s?

You don't mess around mate indeed!

one question are their any redirects involved I've sent you a PM

Yes, I have a redirect from a PR 5 site :), That is what I was refering to when I said if anyone can figure out in the backlinks snapshot what that there is a hidden trick, The thousands of backlinks are actually coming from that re-direct.

It is a 12 year old domain, I acquired 3 months back, had a Domain Authority of 35.

I just can't understand this. there are 3 ways to get links from pbn.
1.footer /sidebar links. (will make your link per domain ratio high)
2.Links from posts. (it will give you only 1 link per domain)
3.****** (not want to discuss about it on public forum , but i can bet that you are not using it.)

You said that 90% of your links are from pbns and that means about 9K links will be from pbn and 90% of ref domains is about 90 domains. That means you are getting 100 links from every pbn site. And currently only possible way to get 100 links per domain is to spam ever pbn site with 100 posts or to add sidebar/footer link.

Other thing can be that you have got 100 links from pbn and rest of 9900 are from a single site (eg all pages on your site link to your homepage or any other site having your link in sidebar). But, that's impossible because you said that 90% of links are from pbn.
That clearly means you are using footer/sidebar links from pbn.

I have domain with more then 10k links per ref domain and those links are footer/sidebar links and that site is improving day by day.

Waiting for your answer.

Hi

I think I answered your question above, plus some domains make a lot of additional pages, it is one of those domains which create 1000s of pages from a single post, I actually went ahead and removed it.

Apart from that as mentioned earlier there is a redirect involved which is forwarding a lot of links.

What kind of websites you are using to get those backlinks? Do you participate in any Article, Blog Submission?

As mentioned earlier I am using PBN's

I think the reason for such less bounce rate is really high quality homepage content and then proper internal linking. for example review of a product and internal linking to it's success stories.

There is no benifit of using an aged domain since Google has already nulled the backlink power, more or less. So I avoid them, many people will dispute this statement and the fact of matter is that even I am not 100% sure, still conducting a test on this.

Hi Harry

To be honest I do not go into that much details, my homepage article is a 1000 word plus review and all I do is make it in a way that the complete site provides them with any and everything that they are looking for.
Updating an article will additional keywords would help you in terms of on-page relevancy.
but more or less if your copy has the main keywords covered and your meta has main keyword covered you will rank for secondary keywords just by adding them in your anchor text strategy while backlinking.

I have a question aswell.
So you have 160ish backlinks from different domains. Does it mean you had to get 160 x 500word articles? Thats a lot. And thats only one website. Did you buy them, wrote them yourself, spin them(if so, are they readable)?

Thank You

Nice, i plan on using a similar method to add another source of income as well.

I'M GLAD i GAVE THIS CASE STUDY A GOOD READ BEFORE TAKING TO iSHAN:rolleyes:...Obviously he was ready with all his armors..also he did ask me a few questions (I think just to check if i have read his thing :p) but yes adding him on skype did really well...Thank you for agreeing to handhold me for one of my initial projetc...;);););)
