Another way to find low competition keyword is by checking the top 10 results for that keyword. If there's a low authority domain on that top 10, we can assume that keyword is easy to rank.

Last week, I was doing some testing on KGR keywords here, so I was wondering if there's a correlation between KGR and Lowest DA on Top 10

So here's the result :

KGR to Lowest DA on Top 10 (LDT10)

MU1OcvT

Lowest DA on Top 10 (LDT10) to KGR

KNnfzwO

As you can see either way, there are no strong correlation between these two methods. Only 7 out of 25 (28%) confirm each other. The sample size is around 600 amazon keywords with monthly search between 100 - 260 to comply with KGR rule. Maybe on my next experiment, I will try to include Ahrefs Keyword Difficulty metrics into the equation.

Easy to rank can mean that you have to create better content than the top-ranking pages and it could also mean that you have to get more(quality or quantity) niche specific links for that particular keyword than the competitors. Breaching the top 10 with a completely new domain is rare and difficult. I have had serps jump to the top 10 or 20s overnight only to disappear completely from the top 100s in under a weak because they were not sound. :(
