While there are a TON of different reasons your account might not be accepting your card or isn't spending, one of the main ones is...

YOUR IBAN.

Copied this from Google as I am feeling lazy.

An IBAN is used to identify an individual account involved in an international transaction. The IBAN also acts as a method of verifying that transaction details are correct.

But to put this in perspective, years ago is when I first noticed that FB was starting to gun down on AMEX cards (In this case, it was mostly USA and UK)

Long story short, these cards were abused a lot obviously also for the "cash backs" and other bonus benefits.

Your IBAN can basically be read, this counts for a huge amounts of processors and FB has a card rating.

You probably already noticed that some cards give you a higher spend right away, while others will set you on very low limits.

Well, in most cases it's the IBAN.

So what can you do?

Test different cards, changing countries can help, but also business cards versus personal debit, and so forth.

Noticed a bunch of topics why your ads are not spending, figured il get this one out of the way.

P.S. This isn't anything new btw, has been like that for a while.

Even with faster FB bans or just straight up bans upon adding the card.

Solid insight, the iban angle and how it affects card performance on fb was eye opening, thank you.

This is a new feature of Facebook, you should find a way to fix it.

You're right bro. IBAN is a little overlooked factor but it has a huge impact on spending limits and trust. Have you ever tested IBANs from other countries to see if it affects account survival or future expansion?

I agree with you. The IBAN is an often overlooked detail, but it actually has a significant impact on your ad spend limit and how much Facebook trusts your account.

card trust scores tied to IBANs are definitely a hidden factor most overlook. Seen better results myself using EU-issued business cards over local personal ones.

What should I do if my Facebook ad account is permanently disabled?

Lol, just get a new one. (Either create a new one in your name, get one from this forum, or slightly adjust your name, buy an aged account, or slowly farm your own, whatever)

Even if you run just Whitehat and you face a ban, there isn't much you can do unless you were a "big enough" client with direct contact with a manager.

Agencies, multiple accounts aren't just used for black hat or GREY hat, which is another misconception some people have.

New accounts are always a must, whether it's Facebook or FB, which has just increased the CPMs on your account due to some mistakes you made in the past.

I also know people that look for several whitehat accts with higher cashback than they could get themself, which is another valid reason having more and different accounts.

Once in a while, I even had calls with them regarding this. I was running a lot of whitehat as well, and they would recommend a new account, as that was just the "Easier way"

Always keep in mind that FB truly hates hiring staff and spending on reviewing, so now that AI is much more dominant, they also rely on a lot of trial and error, as they also don't want to spend too much on AI (server costs, etc).

I always call it a trial-and-error saving costs system as that's their main goal, more so than keeping FB sparkly clean.

I agree with you. IBAN is a very important but overlooked factor, it greatly affects the account spending limit.

They do these things automatically and randomly, we can just face and change cards continuously unless we are a big enough customer for them, but it also comes with a lot of binding attached

I have never used IBAN, My friends use IBAN to earn a lot of money

This is right on point. Many cards get stuck with limits or cannot be spent because the BIN/IBAN has been marked. It is not uncommon for systems to automatically evaluate the reliability of cards based on history and issuance region. Using the right type of card sometimes determines the ability to scale.

You are right, I agree with your opinion, The card Trust Score attached to the IBAN is definitely a hidden factor that most people overlook.

It's a new feature of Facebook but I think it's mainly related to verifying your payment account if Ok then everything is normal
