Cant seem to pick up from SEO drop

I checked my meta keywords and it seems that all the keywords there are now in the 150 - 200 range

Use a keyword checker and see if it is in the serps for your branded keyword at all. If it isn't you could potentially have an algo penalty

It's possible, but it really depends on what caused the penalty. For some cases you're better off just throwing out the domain and starting over. For other cases you can recover. Too many possibilities to describe here but if you search you'll find all the info about penalties.
