Can we promote Affiliate Products in Face Book?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to affiliate Marketing and still planning to create my blog. I have already selected my niche as well. However, I have read that I can do Affiliate marketing without a Blog/Website as well. I would like to implement this as a short term strategy to earn few Dollars to cover up my learning expenses.

I would like to know whether I can promote my affiliate products in Face Book? If so, can you all guide me to refer any resource which I can learn more.

Yes of course you can, BUT Facebook will block many affiliate links and some affiliate programs will not allow promotion via social media, you need to check with each one first.
However, surprisingly Amazon affiliate program actually provides a toolbar to post aff. links to Facebook pages/walls.

Most people will use a landing page (LP) between Facebook and the aff. offer to avoid FB blocking the link, you can make a simple single LP with your own website and hosting or just use a free service like Weebly/Blogger.

Yes, but your options and conversion will be severely limited by Facebook and Group/Page owners/admins.
It's worth giving it a try though, as it's better than doing nothing. The experience you gain from it will be worth more any monetary reward.
NOTE! You should not rely on Facebook alone, try other free traffic methods like blog commenting, viral content, etc.

First, check with the affiliate program to see if FB traffic is accepted. You may promote affiliate offers on Fb but remember to cloak your links with a service such as Bitly.

The more serious affiliate program - the more serious rules.

If it is not allowed by big programs, you should use such scheme: facebook -> your website -> affiliate program link
